This park is neglected, the company hasn’t added a coaster until 2010, that was monster. The company who operates oakwood operates this park to and hasn’t added any coasters since 2017 and that was a crappy Pinfari RC40 called creepy crawler. Bluestone wants to buy back oakwood but Aspro won’t budge sadly.

Great video! Looked like a fun park! The wooden coasters layout reminded me of Coaster Express and also The Beast, which I've ridden. I agree, nice landscaping there! I really enjoyed watching this! Im looking forward to the next Vlog!

I've been there a few weeks before your visit and it was a rainy day so there was nobody in the Park. The first hour feeled like a Ert on Monster😂. In general it's an ok park with a very good signature ride

This park desperately needs the investement yeah. If they RMC'd Anaconda and refreshed Monster they'd have an amazing 1-2 punch for the western european area.

If you look at Monster's past life in Japan in Orochi, you can tell its not Raptor-but can obviously see why they pointed at Raptor and said, "This, no notes". The mid course track pieces still can have breaks installed, its just Walygator doesn't have the crowds for multiple train operations I guess

You do have Metz right there, plus Luxembourg and Nancy within an hours drive (and a heavily traveled rail corridor, some trains actually stop at the park like at Walibi Belgium)-with the major cities around around 3+ hrs, and have so much better parks so why would anyone besides an enthusiasts do a day trip here from the Ile de France or Rhur-Rhine regions?

This park is neglected heavily by the company who owns it, all 5 of their parks are neglected, monster was this parks most recent coaster and how long ago did it open? 14 years ago. Oakwood is owned by the same company and bluestone wants to buy it back but the new owners won’t budge. And what was oakwoods last coaster? A sh*tty Pinfari RC40 in 2017 called Creepy Crawler.

This theme park was an attempt to revive the region that was "dying" in the 80s and while it was a financial failure from the beginning, I'd say it still succeeded as it remains a fairly popular destination for people in the area. It's not necessarily bad especially since it's quite cheap and it even has its own train station! I just wouldn't recommend travelling a long time for it lol

They REALLY need to refurbish those rides. You’d be surprised what a simple coat of paint can do. Those rides look like they haven’t been painted in decades.

This park has two big problems, 1. Europa-park is two hours away 2. It was built for 1 million visitors per years but never reached that so the area is too big and expenses are heavy, Walygator needs a great investment to attract more but because of Europa-park its a gambling and because of the place its expensive so.. we are trapped I guess

Of course the landscaping is nice here. If this park has a French Lasseiz-Faire attitude towards maintenance, that means the coasters grow rough and rusty but the trees grow out nice and big. Ce que l’on gagne d’un côté, on le perd de l’autre.

Its just a poor park. They try. A review that i looked from year ago, the park was wors then is now. I have respect for them that they keep trying to make it a succes

I'm french, i follow you for about 3years and i would never guess in my life you would go to waligator😂. The Park is hated and trashed in France becaus, on top off having Bad coaster, Bad operation, the Park was realy dirty, it was full of useless decors getting destroyed by the rain and let in the middle of the avenue, the Price was highter. For exemple They also had Bad operation on Monster beacause, first they only used one train, and second, they werrent allowing people to get in the station before the train was stoped and everyone was out, only beacause a barrer was broken and didn't alowed them to preload in the station. But the trashs of the comunity have been usefull, they replaced the direction and they are doing theme test on multiple attractions. Even tho WE still wait for the repaint of The Monster for around 10years.

Did this park in 2020 yup in the middle of the covid well did it in the summer so that was ok. Doesn't seem to have changed at all. I think its one of the worse parks in france not because its a bad park but it has so much potentiall that isn't tapped into. They defenit need a good invenster with some nice pockets and this park could be really good. I think the bad rap it gets is because its between a lot of very good parks within a 5 hours drive. Its a bit like the the bobbe jan park of france or maybe moviepark germany (although both those parks are way better then this one) . Like i said Put in 3 decent coasters (nothing fancy just decent) and a couple of flats and you got a pretty good park.
