Rock bottom? We are a draft and develop team, which means if we whiff on a draft, let alone 2 in a row, it sets us back years. What if we whiff on the next draft too? We are going to be a bad team for a while. Not that it really matters, but after they extend Micah we will have 3 players making something like $130 million a year. Next year's cap is supposed to be around $272 million. This isn't rock bottom. Rock bottom will be when Jerry World is filled with the other team's fans and we have zero primetime games.

Hoffman can play center in that scenario. I think their inner o line will be ok, they got to figure out the tackles. Steele or Guyton need to step up at RT next year and we have to find a LT

To blame everything on mccarthy without talking about all the players that were let go in free agency and not replaced with capable vets (both starters and depth pieces) and to wholly depend on every 2nd year player improving and every draft pick being nfl starting caliber players is lunacy. The issues started in the offseason. Like hankins wouldnt help the run D, getting a rb like henry or jones instead of bringing in zeke/cook wouldnt help, having noah brown on the roster wouldnt help. Getting gilmore for cb depth instead of having to watch carson get burnt wouldnt help. You guys are just scapegoating mccarthy to protect jerry, its frankly disgusting.
