Really nice statue, I love that they have a portraits looking in different directions, one looking down, and one that’s looking up if you want to display it down low, every single statue should come with a looking up portrait. But I just have no interest in 1/3 statues, they’re nearly all museum poses, give me a 1/6 diorama all day long. Statues with dynamic poses are just so much better & interesting.

Very nice but doesn't come close to hust Superman or 1:3 Iron Studios Superman who went under the radar for most collectors ( not a lot of reviews)

It's an amazing time to be a Superman fan that is for sure 👍☺️. I really like this Superman from LBS. The standard Alex Ross and the Dan Jurgens long hair portrait are my favorite portraits. Love the colours and suit. The price is fair. Powerful museum pose. I have no complaints. He will look perfect next to their Batman and WW. However, it's not possible to buy or find them here in Europe. I know that Todd have them at spec. And Todd is amazing no doubt about that. But with shipping and import this is a 2/ 2.5 K Statue. I thought about it and went back and forth on it. But in the end I keep being a 1/4 collector and I have just ordered the latest PF Superman 👍😊

Yea I’d still prefer the Superman Hush I think, although this is nice too. But these characters need dynamic poses, they look so much cooler.

Great as always, Gem. One recommendation though is that the blue background lights should’ve been turned off to better show off the actual color of the statue as there are two different blue versions, and it’s hard to tell the difference.

All those portraits, and I don't even like one of them. lol I think Tweeterhead's 1/3 bust has the best portrait for a Superman piece, for me.

I agree, I wanted to get the statue but none of those portraits speak to me. They're not bad they just don't look like the Superman I prefer.

Personally, I think Call to Action is still the best portrait of Superman over all. It isn't the only one, obviously. I think some of it is the paint application on the skin/eyes because the sculpt is solid. I've ordered this one but some of the portraits aren't doing it for me either. I don't hate them but I might end up selling it at some point depending on how I feel in hand. Gary Frank and Alex Ross seem to be the big inspirations but I'm excited about the Prime 1 version too.

I generally agree with this sentiment. Fortunately A) it's so small and down low that it's virtually invisible, and B) the way my display works, I can easily cover the bottom of the base with a little fabric wrinkle. But yes, I agree, the slogan never should have been changed. But it's really en vogue to **** on America right now. And DC IS a comic book publisher - they love wading into politics. LBS was just going with DC's current slogan. That's the license :(

Legendary beast produces low quality paint job. The base story telling is just the same that you can see all around the church in the philippines just like the 14 stationsnofbtje cross. Not a good portrait. Just telling the truth

God, these statues really make me not like legendary beast studios. All the statues are the same, nothing but a bunch of re skins. Look at thor, standing straight up, face to the side looking up. Look at Captain America, standing straight up, face to the side looking up. They both also have their weapons on 1 hand and a balled fist on the other. Hulk is no different, except he's not standing all the way up because he's more of an animal. Here we look at Superman, and it's the exact same thing. Stand up, face to the side looking up, hands balled in a fist. It's BORING. Yet you have a look of people riding them hard simply because they're 1/3 scale. If you compare this Superman to Superman Hush and the new Superman that sideshow is coming out with that has the exaggerated cape, then the sideshow piece wins hands down. The face, the sculpt, the pose, the base. It's completely dynamic, as opposed to this or the Superman Hush. Compare Sideshow's Captain America by Martin Canale and up size it to 1/3, it blows LBS version out of the water. Same goes for Thor breaker of brimstone, way better than LBS version. Same for Superman, batman, hulk. These pieces are awesome in the sense of their size but truly boring when comparing them to others, it's not even a matter of opinion at this point but mere facts.

Ultimately it IS your opinion. I get the feeling these are aimed at people who want that museum style 1/3 pieces who stand stoically in a hall of heroes style. Like you, I prefer more dynamism in my statues but I also understand everyone collects differently.
