I love Sunn 0))) and the Life Pedal, so I was pleasantly surprised when Line 6 decided to model it. The Vital/Life does even more than illustrated here, it's got fantastic lower-gain drive sounds available in op-amp or asymmetrical modes. Probably my desert island drive, even when I'm not using it for drone/doom/experimental sounds (which I definitely also do).

I use the vital boost on almost every preset. It can push almost ANY amp into high gain realm. I also love the vital distortion as well, but the vital boost is insane!

Thanks, Jason. Definitely a quirky pedal, especially with the octave stuff, but otherwise kind of old school 60's sounding to me, which can have it's uses for sure. In fact, the song that instantly popped into my head when you started playing with it was "No Time" by the Guess Who, but I'm sure the Moon amp had something to do with that, too. They definitely seem to go well together.

Line 6 should add your channel as factory option to helix lol , great video as a slightly heavier player I love this pedal esp the boost , also love the endless sustain of these 2 , as always thanks for the unlimited knowledge you spread over the helix world

Not really my cup of tea. Only fuzz I've heard that it kinda cool in the HX is the pocket fuzz but even then I don't think I'd ever use it personally.
