The vote is NOT to add the cars back in the playlist, it’s to add them to the back stage pass store…. EXACTLY the same as FH4… eventually all cars not in the standard store will arrive in the backstage store, and that’s how newer players will be able to get all cars they missed. FH5 probably has at least another year of content to come.

It's nice to explore at first, but once you've done all of the showcases and you've unlocked a few hundred cars, the cars and map seem to just become generic imo, nothing really stands out to me except maybe the odd instance of the sandstorm, having all weather conditions on one map was interesting at first but you rarely drive that far round the map to experience all sun rain snow etc. The car sounds alone was a letdown for me, and the lack of customisation, and the copy paste Forza aero parts are beyond hideous Also some of the camera angles are shocking, eg having a light bar (police lights prime example) shows as a side skirt customisation but the camera angles default shows you the side skirt, and even if you zoom out fully, you can only see the bar when you're looking from directly above the car which doesn't help because you can't see what the car would look like say from a side point of view

I swear I don't understand the forza community, I agree with the point that FH5 is 3 years old, I don't deny that, but now I see people saying that the FH4 map was good? I know that FH5 has its flaws, but for god's sake. Every week there'd be a post in the comments of any video and on reddit of someone complaining that the map was shit, that they hated it when there was snow. I started playing since FH1, and I understand, sometimes nostalgia speaks louder, but for those who were really there every week playing, it was fun and great, but it's always like that, every time a new game in the franchise comes out, the old one is elevated to the maximum, and the new one is always hated for the same reasons that hated the previous one, and the cycle continues. When the next forza comes out, I'm sure I'll see the same thing, people saying that horizon 5 was good, and that the current one is bad and blah blah blah.

Not true the only thing that saved fh5 from its downfall was creative mode . Without that the game would of been dead . Fh2,3 and 4 maps are 50x better . graphic wise yeah sure.. but when it comes to the detail and map location fh5 is just a boring baron location.can’t see us playing this wasteland for another 2 years

FH4 Backstage Pass launched about a year before FH5 came out so you might conclude from that FH6 is about a year away but they are giving out Backstage Passes and cars at a higher rate so not sure what that means tbh. It feels as though they could still resurrect more cars from FH4 but they need to keep new cars back for FH6 so it's a tough balancing act. My feeling is that truly new content is going to tail off now and they will be going up a gear in recycling very soon...

The backstage pass will not be in the slot of the new cars in the playlist. At least for this season, it occupies the slot where returning cars would have been anyway. I would assume we still have a bunch of seasons with new cars to come. However, it is a sign that the development of FH5 is slowing down and moving to FH6.

4:29 i personally prefer the more eye pleasing colourful look of the previous titles the graphics upgrades are definitely better in fh5 no doubt about it, but i just feel for a game that's as sandboxy and fun and not serious as forza horizon, going for a vibrant route with bright skies and a paradisical look suits the game more than a realistic look with toned down visuals.

It's about time to move on to the next thing, even if add a few cool cars here and there I just can't bring myself to play it. A new map, new mechanics, proper seasons like in 4, more twisty roads and verticality, more custom visual parts and mods, I wouldn't even need better graphics, it's already good enough. Maybe better engine sounds and nicer car models for the older ones.

The wierd fact for me is that forza horizon 5 runs better for me then Horizon 4 😅 Maybe more CPU focus on forza horizon 4 🤔 In my opinion if you don't like playing forza horizon 5 right now you didn't actually like it from the beginning 😅 Every week I spend some hours to get the car test it and do some builds. The main fun for me is actually making own tunes and make them usable and unique. When I choose a car no one did choose and win with my tune it is simply a great feeling 😁 We are soon 3 years in so well it would make sense that the game will stop getting new updates. What other racing games do have updates for 3 years ? Well I know non of them 😅 I have not heard anything about horizon 6 so anything can happen.

I really hope that this is a sign that FH6 is coming next year. I still enjoy playing FH5, but I only do the weekly playlist to unlock the new cars, and then I don't get on for the rest of the week. I'm the kind of person that needs a goal to work towards, so if they stop adding new cars, I won't be interested in playing anymore.

FH5 looks better visually but the map in FH4 is just way better cos it's not as empty and it does have a city which FH5 lacks. I too think we are nearing the end but they'll probably keep giving us at least 4 cars per series until the end of this year, and a backstage pass per season as well. I have no idea about Eliminator, I barely play it and don't take it serious, I just drive around until there are less than 30 players left, lol. I do hope we get to see signs of FH6 soon and it better be with at least 1 city on the map.

FH4 looks significantly better, not because of the lighting, graphics, or quality, but merely because of the amount of design and effort that went into the layout of the map, the seasons changing that actually impacted the map and the massive lake, and the sense of speed was better in FH4 too. I owned and played FH5 before I owned FH4 and 4 is more fun to play, there are features I like more in 5 but ultimately 4 has way more enjoyable, more beautiful map, and just more fun to play. I don’t enjoy driving circles around FH5 considering it’s a big, boring, brown/sandy map with a single mountain touge that actually fun to race on. Mexico just looks horrible in this game. The graphic and lighting have gotten better, yes. But at the cost of the fun factor of the map and efforts into the design of the overall game.

Indeed, Forza Horizon 5 might have more sophisticated lighting and ray-tracing but, from an aesthetic standpoint, I'll prefer the older game with autumn and winter scenery over the newer game with improved lighting and reflections but just one season any day of the week.

Tbh I don't understand this. People literally didn't play winter or spring specifically because of the rain and snow for how annoying or dumb it was for them and would complain about it to no end and saying it was the worst map forza ever made. Now suddenly there's this switch up that fh5s map is garbage and 4s was better? Which is it? I remember not like fh4s map cause it felt clustered. Yes, the seasons affected the games environment, but even something like the ice lake was barely driven on and other seasons other than summer were frowned about most of the time. 5s map is made for eliminator but is flatter and doesn't have seasons and now it's 180'd all over again on being the worst map.

Everyone says FH5 sucks and isn’t as fun as the rest but I recently redownloaded FH4 which I used to play the piss out of. And was so surprised how much worse it was than 5. (Not saying it’s a bad game) but the graphics were a lot worse, the physics were a decent amount less realistic than 5 and the user interface(menus etc) didn’t look anywhere as clean as FH5

@@MelvinThe123 Why? They are not competitors in any way. And who knows when GTA VI will be released, probably not even next year at this point. Not to mention Rockstar is not the unbeatable giant company they were when GTA V came out (though no doubt VI will be successful).

@@tompramanaaccount8892 Maybe it would take away some, buy it's total nonsense not to release it just around GTA VI. Not on thsame day or week, sure, but if you look at GTA V, it was released 3 times, in 2013 for PS3/360, 2014 in PS4/One and in 2015 to PC. And around the that time there is were plenty of successful releases even in the same genre as GTA. For now it's safe to assume that VI will lauch in more than than one phase (console, PC, maybe a separate update for PS5 pro plus whatever Microsoft brings out), impossible to avoid all. Not to mention that on GTA VI lauch they'll only compete on Xbox, PS players are not applicable to for Forza, and PC players are not yet applicable to to GTA. Plus Forza will be in Gamepass day one, GTA won't. It's not that scary as a launch, Forza games launched at Autumn and that's when the most other high profile releases are happening.

I only come back to FH5, once a week.. to unlock new car, second i get it, close game n never touch it again till next new car. Online play/connection is horrible, so it's not even fun to race w/friends online, when it takes like 5 minutes to connect to a new race in between. Hell even doing the festival playlist stuff w/friends. it says starting up, n ur driving around for like a minute asking each other.. "you in yet? i think im in queue, i cant press start or anything.. *waits* oh yup, there we go, it's connecting" ... the map is just NOT fun... FH3 and FH4 i always had "my route" i'd go, EVERYTIME i'd get a new car, or log in for the day... it was my therapy, i had my lil route i'd always take, had a good mix between tight twisty/drifty bits n high speed corners so i could test my tunes for online, it literally would just be a peaceful thing for me. FH5 lost all it's charm n stuff w/their map choice. Which was left "open and baren" on purpose, i think for people to have an easier time w/the creative mode to make their own maps.. But then FH5 does a HORRIBLE JOB at implementing those things. and showcasing them. Ya ya, we get like 2 of them per week in the festival playlist.. but I'll be honest, i dont even do them! half the time they are a buggy mess, n just not enjoyable (like they dont even vet the tracks before hand), or now i can just complete n get my new car just by doing the 3 main race series they make, the time trials (monthly), and the Trial... i dont even have to do the custom maps. So the game just isnt fun.

Short answer no probably not, I highly doubt horizon 6 will launch next year mainly because of Gta 6. I think we'll probably get a trailer but i doubt horizon 6 will come out next year, I don't want the game being rushed or released early. I think playground have seen the mess motorsport has been and dosent want to repeat that. Also 4 cars is more than enough as well as getting backstage pass back, look I want a new horizon game but I'm perfectly happy with horizon 5 for another year.

For all we know it may be going through development hell like Forza Motorsport 8 did. Horizon also suffered serious delays. FH5 was supposedly delayed so it can run on FM8 engine, which we all know didn't happen, and expansions were not out for more than a year

@@kireta21 To be honest I'm glad horizon 5 isn't on fm8s engine as its quite behind compared to fh5. Also another reason I didn't mention as to why horizon 6 won't be coming out next year is due to some of playground working on the new fable game.

I think the gentleman you're referring to that stated FH4 looks better, is probably referring to the aesthetic, the map layout, the hills, the towns. Although i agree that FH5 has pushed forward the detail, ray tracing, etc., But i believe if FH4 was made with the same things that FH5 was made with, FH4 would BODY FH5, FH4 is just so beautiful, and i actually prefer the colors, and lighting better than FH5. To me, the map in FH4 is so much better than the flat eliminator style map FH5 provides. Excited though, cant wait for FH6.

Forza Horizon 5 looks better on a technical level, of course. But the map is dreadfully dull. I'm so tired of a locale incapable of autumn leaves or snow. It feels so samey even in different season's. I've never had such a love-hate relationship with a game before.

I have to say it… I have never played Forza my entire life (never owned an XBOX) and I started with FH5 like 1 1/2 years ago on PC, instantly liked the game a lot and started “grinding” cars and stuff and hopping on just to drive, then I got FH4 like start of this year and played it. Bro, FH5 has never felt so soulless and boring. The map design compared to FH4 is soooo bad, FH4 looks so much better and alive and I have actually made more friends on FH4 than on FH5.

I was done with FH5 months ago. I was done with the game, was just playing to get the new cars in festival playlist, was just dragging it on. until I called it quits for good. Good game just not anymore. IMO.
