I bought one of these from Amazon about two weeks ago. I bought the 3V in .010, and I’m pretty pleased with it. It took me a very long time to figure out the gang adjustment, the sight tape and the tiny distance indicators. The scope housing with the three fiber optic pins was a quick setup. It is almost like two sights in one. The 20, 30 and 40 yard fiber optic pins/housing were super easy to set up. But if you set this up on the lowest gang setting then you get arrow fletching contact well before 130 yards. I toiled with this sight until I could get it to work for me, I did days of trial and error adjusting before I was purely satisfied with my situation. This is BY FAR the most accurate archery shooting sight I have ever owned. At 20, 30 and 40 yards I am getting some very tight groups, the tightest I have ever shot. My draw is 28.5”, my poundage is 66.5 and my arrow weight is 410 grains (my arrows are just under 28” carbon-to-carbon). So I’m not getting amazing speed out of my bow but it’s comfortable and consistent for me and I’m shooting very accurately and repeatedly. With this sight I can get 100, 110 and 115 yards no problem. Any further dialing down with the sight and I run the risk of fletching contact. My indicators can actually travel further down to 130 or greater but an arrow won’t pass. I bought this sight because I didn’t want a UV Slider ($600, 2024 retail). I like that the two green pins of this sight are adjustable, super cool. I set my metal, red tipped indicator pins at 20 and 40 yards (with one screw). I did this because I wanted my top pin to be my floater, not my 30 yard (red) or my 40 yard (lower green) pin. I’m still learning about this sight. Someone really needs to do an in depth set up video for this sight. I struggled to understand all the minor adjustments that can be made but eventually I figured it out. If I rotate my top slider indicator to 50 yards and I hit low, I have come to realize I need a “slower” sight tape installed , right now I’m at G/H or I/J tapes. The metal sight tapes have “G” on one side and “H” on the other side. Until I get my bow to shoot faster (faster limbs/new strings/lighter arrows) I’m cool with these slower tapes. The only bummer is that my slower set up won’t allow me all the way out to 130 yards (arrow/fletching contact, the slider has the travel). Who knows? I’m still using 6.5 mm carbon arrows with 3 fletchings and 100 grain field points. I bet if I do some arrow magic I can get the arrow speed up and I might achieve E/F sight tape (use four fletchings to get the sight housing lower). I truly do love this sight. It is very adjustable. It is very precise. What impressed me the most of this sight is how RESPONSIVE it is. Tiny up and down movements? You will see it in your arrow impacts. Left or right adjustments? No problem (24 clicks is a full revolution so I click away at 12 or 6 micro-clicks to be safe). Massive left of right movement is super easy too. Would I buy this again? Absolutely. I watched this video over and over again before i finally decided on buying one. Zero regrets. Thanks for the video. Ask me anything if you like.

ditched mine for the uv slider. where the CBE slider connects to the sight mount wobbled, a lot. ima be be honest, i have had a lot of CBE gear, and for the most part, its been good enough, but the slop in the slider mechanism turned me off forever.

Good product review bud….good detail in your approach to this video over all…I have been shooting vertical sights for years and won’t go back to a horizontal pin housing….just me and what I like….keep up the great videos bud…appreciate your stuff😊

Nice review. I shoot a spot Hogg fast Eddie xl wt a shrewd optum 35mm scope wt a shrewd rod for adjustments and a shrewd 4 power lens. Works great.

Spott Hogg triple stack has has movable 3 pins stacked. Also, all 3 pins are movable, not just the top and bottom so you can move them all close to the bottom of the housing for max fletching clearance when shooting long bombs.

@danielely7437 6 ай бұрын
Not all three pins are movable. Uv makes a fixed 3 pin. You have to know all your arrow and bow specs before ordering and they basically personalize for your set up. I’m not saying you’re wrong, this is something that I just recently learned.

@@danielely7437 I have owned the Spott Hogg Triple Stack for almost 2 years. All 3 pins are definitely adjustable, as well as the pointers on the sight tape. As far as Ultraview, I have never owned one but I've played around with a UV 3 pin and the top and bottom are definitely adjustable with a fixed middle pin. The 3 pin actually has a 4th pin on the bottom for long distance.

I own this but the 2 pin vertical and the fast eddie xl triple stack the spot hog is a better more robust site but I like the cbe better just because the site picture is better to me the pin bar is thinner on the cbe blocking less of the target I use the cbe for 3D and the spot hog to hunt

I have shot vertical for decades…and 3D and TAC shoots…hunting….think it’s opinion and what a guy sets his mind to be used to I suppose bud…the cluster of the pins in my sight picture to the right of an animal in the housing from horizontal pins annoys me…more open picture with vertical…but then like you say bud…that’s just me…I think a guy gets sight he likes and go with that…they are stupid expensive so a guy has to like it a lot lol…shoot straight bud…have a great one 😊

So, the vertical posts partially blocking the target don’t bother you? I’m guessing when you are really focused on the target your mind blocks out the interfering post?

I have shot 3D for decades with vertical sight housings…I now have a spot hog fast Eddie three pin slider for 3D and TAC shoots…and hunting….never had a issue with blockage as your seeing it…when on target I don’t see/notice the thin line that would be there from a post - pin above….so…no the post is t an issue…my opinion of course…have a good one bud…shoot straight 😊

Verticle pins were designed for hunting not for target shooting 3D 12s

@@user-sp9hy8tq4j probably so. One would need to be a very accomplished archer to intentionally hit 12’s .

Could you run your pins say 30, 40, 50. 40 being your middle pin and having your indicators correspond with the 30 (top) and 50 (Bottom) pins? So your top and bottom pins are indicator floating pins is basically what I am trying to say. While they all float I wouldn't necessarily need the middle pin to have an indicator because at most distances it would essentially just be whatever the in-between number of those 1st and 3rd pins.

I’ve found it’s difficult to shoot out past 60-70 yard with a 3 pin slider. With the pins being all the way down I still run out of fletching clearance. Also, can all slider sites come with a 20 stop or positive 20!!!
@yeetmissiletv
@yeetmissiletv 6 ай бұрын
Most of them have a positive stop that are in the higher end class or high price range, but you shouldnt have any problem with 60-70yds surprised your having clearance issues I would take it to the bow shop have them check it out see what’s up buddy

I have the CBE Engage Hybrid 5pin you think your sight is good try the engage!!! You should point out that there are variables that will LIMIT you yd age ie: peep placement I can only roll out to 80-85yds and then I have NO clearence under my scope housing SO 130 is NO GOOD for me I pick a back ground object and use my pins (in revese) and float them above the target If you have the same problem watch Brandon McDonld he did a very good video on this Between you arrow rest peepand bottom of your scope housing will set your limits NOT a sight tape

Id consider if they had it in horizontal pins. Vertical….. did it …. Not again. Created panic because it hides the most important aspect of sight picture on animals and 3d’s . Elevation .for me anyway

Enjoy that sloppy rail system. It will vibrate and buzz eventually. I'll never buy a CBE hunting sight again. Spot Hogg had the tripple stack out way before this and it's a much better sight. Spot Hogg, Axcel, HHA, Black Gold, B3, Ultraview. All much better sights.
