Let me explain his ult in simple way, His ult is basically a Reserved Lifesteal bar that gives Movement spd on Active, During that time, even if you didn't let your Hp bar drop to 0, All your damage is converted to Hp, And during this time, you are enhanced possible gaining passive every 0-2 attacks, You can shred enemies by going crit and be super fast too Don't be afraid to still attack when your hp drops to 0, you still got 2 seconds before going away to danger Also i noticed that only BA now regenerates your passive, no more slow regen even without attacking

Yeah thats weird, the last part i mean, his passive red bar regen is part of his, well "passive effect", which isn't mentioned in the patch since only the ultimate revamp is mentioned in the patch, but its obvious that they changed it somewhat, either that or its a bug that occured because they are tinkering his ultimate

I mean his ult is kinda nice now, but i would prefer it to be 4-4 second instead of a 5-3. And Hororo didn't mention it but his energy regen on idle is removed and that is a HUGE nerf on early. It didn't shown that much since he is fighting Ruby, but he would be smacked by any other Exp Laner with this nerf.

His passive's damage and regen was also slightly nerfed by 50. Not really much of a difference, but it also does make it harder for him to go against other exp laners, especially in early game.

If you are using the ult when high hp bar and dive into the turret within 3s, you will not die due to immortality of 3s, while your health reaches zero (in ult state within 3s) you will gain another 5s immortality. If you just press ult when almost dead, then your hp bar reaches zero by after using ult about 1sc, it is automatically triggered the additional 5s so total is 6sc... just to remind that we cant abuse maximum of 8sc immortality, it depends on situation or luck

To summarize up, Teamfight capability - *BUFF* (bcs new ult mechanic) Split pushing capability - *NERF* (bcs passive no longer recharge when hitting turret + pushing base when minion die is harder bcs only 3s immortal + no passive💀) Laning capability (early game) - *NERF* (bcs passive no longer auto fill thus poking the enemy will be harder) But this is just my theory. Back when Argus' ult can get a full bar of rage back then, they changed his ult because they don't want Argus players to do the Passive BA then use Ult then Passive BA while inspire is active. So, they changed it because his ult is like a double edged sword then they changed him to what we know of him in the original server. Then this "adjustment" came like a double edged sword treatment...

Yet again this "Buff" comes with hidden "nerfs" 1 - He no longer can remove debuffs when he activates his ult: if you're stunned you can't purify yourself anymore with Ult. 2 - The total duration of actual immortality is cut down to 3s from 4s. Skilled Argus mains that had perfect ult timing that used to use his ult at the last last second before death are effectively getting worse death immunity from his ultimate. 3 - His passive is changed and doesn't accumulate malice energy unless he performs a basic attack.

Moneyton is giving back the prime argus experience in the facade of a "buff". They basically make trade-offs each "buff" or some kind of adjustment or revamp on a hero, and in this case they're trying to slowly kill off the idea of immortality by shortening the actual invincibility state to 3 from 4 seconds. Which was originally 5 seconds on his og version and he even perfoms the same without using ult btw. As usual, moneytons "buffs" are just nerfs masked as a buff. They didn't entirely give back his og performance, they only put it on his ult, making his normal state like the usual sluggish argus in original server. They really did separate something that was already whole. I wish they never did changes on him in the first place.

Fr, you can no longer do hit and run combo. It makes it harder for him in early laning phase because you can't no longer do 1+2+passive combo on enemy. His pushing ability also got a huge nerf because the passive no longer increase when hitting turret.

Actually they did nerf his damage and heal on his passive. From a base of 200, it was nerfed to 150; both damage and heal. I also don’t know if they kept his slow immunity or his purify on ult. Edit: it also seems they removed his rage gain going up when hitting the turret, which is odd.

1 more thing they removed is (in oreginal server when the ultimate end, turrect damage will be reset to the first shot damage but now it's gone) i noted when i tried to dive an enemy and i got 1 shot by a turrect after the ultimate end. It suck. 😢

I do feel like the removal of the rage bar increasing on its own is a major nerf to his early game and especially against meta fighters like YZ and Terizla and also a bit too harsh for Argus players. Not to mention the actual immortality duration is 3 seconds, so he HAS to use his ult when he has alot of health, because if not you'd only get 3 seconds of immortality. This version of Argus is way more reliant on his ultimate than our current Argus, so this is yet another hidden nerf in disguise. Maybe make it so that the duration of the ult is 4-4 instead of 5-3 and add the slow rage increase back

Mixed feelings on this, cause now we should wisely choose on when to use ult and not just all the time, and also increase map awareness, cause despite the buff on ult, it also has now a longer cooldown (and because argus doesn't really use fleeting time), your become more of a sitting duck to ganks, skirmishes or getting burst down by assasins while your ult is on cooldown (also, argus despite the ult buff, is still WEAK TO CC)

I like this change. Argus's current ult is treated by the player as a defensive tools rather than an offensive one. Use it too early, you waste 4 seconds of immortal. Ultimate should be use offensively. The current ult is punishing player when using it too early but rewards them when used at the last seconds. This experimental ult reverse that concept. Use it aggressively and you are rewarded with a 5 seconds immortality and a buff on your passive if you land your 2nd skill. Use it sparingly, it will be the same as how it was, save you from death only worst (3 seconds immunity from 4). Plus, you also get that additional 3 seconds immunity if your hp (not recovered hp bar) reaches zero, rewarding a more aggressive play. Overall, I like this change. I hope it will make it to original server.

This feels more like a nerf than it is a buff, i hope that the devs change their mind. If they really want to buff Argus just give him back the 5 sec immortality duration, the rework is unnecessary and for me, is unwanted, seeing how he'll very likely perform worse now, with the even shorter 3 sec immortality. Okay, so it seems the passive has 100% uptime if you hit with the AOE of the ult with the second skill so, this actually is an insane buff. You can pair it with the Malefic Roar to hit even higher penetration % while atk speed is a little redundant considering his passive animation is fast enough in itself. While his Immortal State duration is indeed, nerfed even more, the adjustments to his passive allow for a really quick burst of basically anybody if you use the Malefic Roar as well, with the ability to hit 80% physical penetration. Overall, this buff is actually something i would want, though the nerf to the ultimate duration is a bummer, the fact that his passive has 100% uptime makes up for it. By a long shot. Plus the movement speed too, practically anybody will be burst down with a full crit build. Hopefully no more nerfs come to him though. I do believe they should keep the purification effect from all cc except suppressed though. Cause CC will be the death of Argus if not paired with a Diggie. Otherwise, he'll be significantly more ult reliant + team reliant rather than his usual One Man Army style. Though, with a bit of getting used to, the One Man Army playstyle may still be viable considering his absurd burst capabilities now.

Argus is my solo queue main since 2018. IMO Argus doesnt change, I'd argue he is nerfed overall. Because the 5 seconds is just a buff state with increased lifesteal like zilongs ult. The immortality is shortened to 3 seconds. His passive doesnt refill automatically now or even when hitting turrets. Might be a bug but if not, its a terrible trade. This still dont solve Argus main problems, which is over reliance on ultimate as a basic attack only hero and his ultimate state is useless when people just dash away and zone him. Next, a shorter immortality state is bad as proven before. His new ult mechanic is interesting but still serves nothing to help him survive or deal damage upon any form of CC, which is average of 1.5 seconds, taking half of his immortality state. The ult AOE is not useful because if you dont hit anyone, he don't get enhanced passive. Would be better if it was a taunt wave or slow, then he can help in team fights, which he struggles in this always chain cc meta Seems nice but when you play him like I did in a few matches, he feels worse actually. Because his problems still remain. Perhaps they should try revert to previous 4 seconds form and give him cc immunity during ultimate as an experiment for a few weeks. Even then, he can easily be kited or left alone, surpressed etc. If its too OP, then remove it, but i doubt it will ever be even then.

argus with the new fleeting time is super strong now. ignore shoes, full crit bulid(4 items) and 1 adjustable atk item to counter heroes. mm emblem, crit skill, movement skill because no shoes and 2 options for 3rd skill, war cry or the atk speed reduction. with fleeting time you dont need the cd reduction skill as 3rd.

while watching this as argus main i noticed his passive isn't triggered when hitting turrets ( its on 3:21 ) so thats kinda big deals when his passive on global server can shred turrets even on critical dmg considering he is pouring damage only from his basic attacks, I think with nowadays equipment and updated emblem he is quite balanced even for honor - glory rank , not too weak not too strong, what a trade for buffed ult 😶

ARGUS BUFF FINALLY! It's quite an interesting change tbh. Here's a couple things I've noticed though: One, his passive doesn't seem to passively fill anymore Two, if you look at the gameplay showcase, you can see that Argus ult is uninterruptible, meaning if you press it and you get cc'd, it will still pop. Another thing is that, shortly after that, you can see that Argus gets stunned but his ult can still be pressed (0:21). This is huuuge. Three, his passive doesn't fill when hitting turrets (wtf) Overall I like this buff. I hope the third point I mentioned is just a bug though cuz that would suck while pushing turrets.

His passive had been debuffed: heal and damage from charged attack 200 - 150. Also, due to the reason of deleting his passive charge/second he cannot push like before. His early game will be more painful. And his forest role will be useless. I think, that old Argus better. Just increase his attack range and make to him invulnerability to slow effects during ult.

Hmm... In my opinion, this new buff will make him easier to use for larger percentage of people. Though personally, i still prefer to keep my ultimate at the very last second just to play psychology tricks to my enemies so they'll be confused on wether to go full fight or not. I can see his ult be used aggressively to chase the enemy under their tower in the very early game though! But as I've witnessed, I think it's the dev's intention. Which is why they remove the energy regeneration when attacking a tower.. The extra attack and mobilty is nice though, just don't get reckless when it's on cooldown. Hey, at least it's not 120 seconds or 60 seconds cool down XD

Ult no longer removes debuffs and his energy no longer regens if not hitting targets so it's harder to play safe more when the map is pressuref by the enemies and his passive damage and heal got nerfed making him harder to compete with fighters like yuzhong in the early game without ult so it's overall a nerf especially against our current exp lane meta.

I think the new Argus has different gameplay Instead of using his ult as late as possible, you want to use his ult as early as possible. You want to fill the rage bar as fast as possible and his ult is the answer. Also Great Dragon Spear increase your mov speed while using ult so it's easier for you to chase the backline

If he's meta then jungler tank meta might be back again Bcs if you wanna play damage exp, your jungler MUST play jungler tank. Unless they buff the tank roamer and nerf the healing support then you don't have to play jungle tank if your exp is damage exp. Seriously tho tank roamer need a new item, healing support already have Flask while tank roamer? They need an item that only effective for them. Maybe an item that increase cc duration 50%? jungler tank might have a cc but they don't have that much compared to roamer tank so it might be a good idea

More like an adjustment than a buff, they significantly nerfed his early game performance and pushing performance. If your team is trash in the early game, goodluck getting late game items. He's already countered by alot of exp fighters in the early phase and removing malice recharge only exacerbates this problem. He'll only be useful in the mid to late game provided the enemy team isn't fed. And his purpose for split pushing is significantly reduced in late game so goodluck to us argus users lol. The margin of error for early game teamfights is significantly worse for this version. And if the enemy team has 2 or 3 CC, goodluck activating his 2nd phase
