I just purchased my COMET CAA-500 for two weeks so i don't have much experience at this moment with this analyzer. But my first impressions and test are very satisfying. There is only one point i regret, the placement of the two screws of the battery compartiment. When i lay the meter on the table it wobbles. But i have fixed it with 4 small rubber feet. So that was not a big problem. Maybe a tip for the COMET company "Please find a solution for those two screws so the instrument wil wobbling nomore ."

I did the same with the rubber feet and the batteries last a long time

I'm so glad I found your excellent demonstration on how to use this antenna analyzer! I just passed the technician's and general exams, and I bought one to tune an MFJ-1622 antenna to go with my first transceiver, that's an Icom-7300, and I really needed guidance on how to use the Comet analyzer to tune my antenna! Thanks very much!

@@KK6USYHamRadioAdventures I'm curious why it did not include a charging transformer on the end on the little DC plug it came with it but I guess I could just hook up one or hook it up to a power supply or a solar panel.

That's a pretty sweet analyzer. I have a Rigexpert AA-30, but often wish I had put up some more $$ for something that covers more bands. Thanks for sharing! 73
