Is this the best bridge between Grand Seiko and Seiko? The King Seiko SJE113 "Lush Forest" Review

I tried some Grand Seikos, but... I love lume. I haven't taken off the Mystic Forest Alpinist with an Uncle Seiko clasp since I got it!

Seiko smacked it outta the park with this... Great size (even smaller perhaps would've been better) but this'll do, lovely case shape and thickness, great hands and indices and lovely dial. I have a feeling we're going to see King Seiko below 12 like Grand Seiko soon

I'd say the SJE073 is the best bridge between Grand Seiko and Seiko. It's thinner at 9.8mm and even has an exhibition caseback.

Shame King Seiko was relegated to this tier. In the past it was on par with Grand Seiko and that's where it should be now.

It doesn’t make sense for Seiko Epson to invest like they have done for GS. These are great quality watches I think just a bit expensive

That doesn't make any business sense. To have KS cannibalize GS' sales? KS fits in the line up like Seiko < Presage/Prospex < KS < GS/Credor
