IS THIS THE BEST BUDGET GOLF RANGE FINDER? CIGMAN CT-800Y

The Cigman CT-800Y is quite possibly the best budget golf range finder on the market right now.
It has everything from jolt mode to slope and pin seeking features.
I found that it was one of the smallest units I have used and the built in rechargeable battery is a real plus as the batteries in other units are hard to find.
You really can’t go wrong with one of these. Like I say in the video I have an expensive $350 name brand range finder and the Cigman performed just as well.

Great review. I have this ranger finder. Once I realized how the Flagpole Lock worked, it was accurate and fast. My only issue is you can get different distances from the exact location with multiple lazes. However, nothing greater than + or - 1 yard. Only time will tell on how durable it is but for the price and functionality I’m very happy.

That’s a fantastic price. Anything not made in the US is probably Chinese made. For that price and features, it won’t hurt as much to lose it. I have a Tic Tic Chinese one I got 3-4 years ago. Still works fine.

How long is the battery life?

Haven’t had it long enough but they claim 30000 measurements on a full battery. If you shoot 100 in a round you might be shooting a distance 50 times so you can do the math. That is 600 rounds. I doubt that would be the case but let’s face it, comparable batteries in more energy intensive devices last a long time so I don’t think battery life is going to be an issue.
