Thanks for showing a snapshot of the beautiful Norweign cruising area. I'm hoping to find a Rival 34/36 that has been well loved. Your videos give me reassurance that I've made the choice. Nice work with the videos, they are great. I'm eagerly waiting for more. Fair winds.

Nicely done. We probably crossed wakes during this passage as I was in the same region at about the same time. Bonne continuation !

Hi Dean, that's the plan! I have 2 hard drives loaded with footage to be edited, now on the other side of the Atlantic! Cheers for following along :)

What a nice couple you are! Btw,,,, what you call cruise ships we call ferries 😉. It was so lovely to see the drone shots from Ona, a place we visited by boat several times when we lived in that area. Next time you should sail further north as it is even more spectacular scenery. Keep those videos coming!

Ona was spectacular, such a magic wee place. The people we met on Ona and Bjornsund were so kind and hospitable too, welcoming us into their homes for food and drink. We will certainly be back, and will cross the Arctic circle! Thanks for the kind comment, and for tuning in 😎

Aha yes! Well spotted. We had a chat before we arrived but Erik was not around that day. We met him in Shetland though, during one of his attempts to Greenland 🌍

We were there round about same time as you
@sailingmaalie9 күн бұрын
How far north did you get? I wonder if we shared an anchorage at one point?
@anguscartwright46379 күн бұрын
@ Great - we’re from Argyll - We actually only tootled around Bergen for 5 days, then shot back round cape wrath and into Oban. Arrived June 29th and left on 5th July…..various anchorages and marinas. Wet, sunny etc. Had a great couple of nights in Bergen…..kleppevik was the harbour we made landfall. Golden Fox - beneteau first 47.7🫡

@anguscartwright4637 where do you keep your boat? We lived in Oban for years before sailing up to Shetland. I bet you had a fast crossing, did you leave from Orkney?
@anguscartwright46379 күн бұрын
@ ha - Portavadie….plan to head over again and cruise. Next trip is to race the Gotland runt (2026). Where do you keep your boat?
@sailingmaalie9 күн бұрын
@anguscartwright4637 we kept ours at Dunstaffnage, before sailing up north to Shetland. We were in berth there for 2 years before leaving for full time sailing.

@sailingmaalie6 ай бұрын
