Before my work switched to electronic charting, we had carbon copy forms for everything. I am light handed when it comes to writing, even though my hands are massive and I wear a 2x glove. I found heavy tactical pens cleaned up my writing and caused my hand to not hurt, because I didn't have to focus on putting enough pressure for the carbon copy transfer.

If you want to make it a little longer you can put a piece of plastic in before the refill. I use the cap that some refills have. Cut it to about 3/8 of an inch. You will be able to get this to a little over 4 1/2" inches. You can also cut down a Q-tip with the fuzzy end pointing towards the refill.

I have never had a best friend I always have had really really bad ADHD and I always end up being too much to handle after a while and people just get annoyed and I am 40 years old and I have never changed regardless of how much medication I take or how much martial arts I learn I am just annoying to everyone after awhile and I just came to terms with it 🙄 But I am also the person who everyone calls in a crisis when the crisis is at night time because I am such a light sleeper I always will be raring to go on a moment notice

So what I do is use the spacer that came on the included ink cartridge with the space pen cartridge (don't use the space pen spacer). It makes the pen smaller since the space pen refill is not big enough without a spacer as you noticed. Glad you love the pen.
