@GamerMuscleVideos5 жыл бұрын
You can see from the video , if you go fast enough the wheels don't touch the ground which means you are then riding a plane not a bike and as we all know planes are not affected by hills untill they land on them. So what I'm saying is just make sure you never touch the ground and you can get world record times every time , easy.

130mm travel? I've got 150mm travel in the front and around 130mm in the back - and a collegue of mine told me that's not enough for this trail. Considering how much I already abused my bike I belive it will be fine. Over Christmas plan to strip it down, service it and have it rebuild mid January to hit the snow with it :D
@ldorman5 жыл бұрын
@@McTrailRider It started out as a Giant Stance 2 27.5 full suspension trail bike with only 120mm front/back. I only started 2017 mtb again - haven't done proper mtb since 15 yrs and now hitting Glentress nearly every weekend. In the meantime I upgraded to RockShox Pike (150mm) front (a bit slacker and better for the dh) and ones had to replace the RockShox Monarch in the rear - they fuxxed again btw - the last time I was in Glentress and did a jump at the skills area, I heard a loud pop and the air was gone... and no; I'm not fat just tall (6'3" / 93kg) I've put Mavic Cross Max wheels front/rear with now 202mm/160mm rotors - Hayes Stroker brake set (didn't liked the Shimanos). I'm fine with sketchy and technical - jumps & drops are my weakness. Managed to break my elbow this summer (not on a bike) and lost months of good weather I could have been doing practice. Winter will have to do ;) My plan is to ride that bike till it brakes - then I will replace it - only that way I can justify for myself getting a new one. Most likley something between Enduro/DH bike. Keep the good videos up - the Ben Lomond was good :)
