One addition to your review: At least in Germany the ET5T comes with a new 100kWh battery with 186 kW charging peak and 10-80% SOC in 25 Minutes 😎👌⚡️

The ET5T looks absolutely awesome & if it were available here in Canada it would be on my short list, along with the ES6, ES8, or EC6.. Holding out until NIO getting Here, hopefully 🤞

Excellent review. Thank you. I must say that NIO needs to come to USA ASAP. All the crappy cars including my Tesla cannot be battery swapped. I have a 5 year old Model X and never Teslas already have newer 4680 battery cells, and I will never be able to upgrade to newer battery technology. Shame on Tesla to do it in a short-cut profit-first model. NIO takes it slow and build out its battery swapping network, together with its NIO phones, VR goggles, NIO houses, NIO power, and NIO lifestyle products, I really think that NIO will be a hit here in the USA. Can't wait for its arrival in 2025.

Great and very beautiful car. But it needs a slight update to catch up with the model 3. The cockpit and luxury of the EL6 would be great. HUD and display in the back (not that people need it, but new cars now have displays on the back)

Haven't driven any Avatr yet, so can't really make a choice. The 11 I sat in at the car show, it's kind of weird in some ways, but overall pretty nice. They both look nice though.

Nio. Why is it called Nio? It actually is a pun. But for their customers it's no fun. They have a CEO who is suffering from delusions of grandeur and who lacks any foresight. When they already selling every car at a loss they think it's a good idea to start a smartphone business. All because they are incapable of programming an app that just works. Their swap stations will be obsolete as soon as catl comes out with their new battery that can charge in ten minutes and by going the swap route Nio are excluding themselves from structural battery pack development which will make them uncompetitive. So what does Nio stand for? N(i)o future.

@@peterklausner9727 No, I cannot you. You are comparing a four year old car with completely different technology to a car from 2023. In 2019 there weren't even LFP batteries available and they last for 3000 charge cycles. Next time, please come prepared. On top of that he ignored every rule about charging there is. Never below 10% and never to 100% unless you go on a long road trip. If you seriously compare cars that are four years apart you have some serious mental issues.

@whynotstartusingyourbrain8726 What are you talking about? the model 3 he was using isn't that old, 4 years, & even the new one isn't really impressive an update tbh.. & how do you know how this particular guy didn't use the proper charging guidelines?? So he fast charged it whenever he could because he was doing long daily shifts.. 130k miles isn't that much in the grand scheme of things..& how many more stories like this are going to come up with the lithium ion batteries?? Years worth of models potentially.. So, coming prepared is that Every NIO driver can fast charge, swap, upgrade, or even downgrade your battery.. If I am picking between the two.. Personally I would take a swappable battery pack.. Degradation would never be a problem in 10 years & I have flexibility to use whatever battery pack that suited my situation whatever that might be at that time.. NIO has by far the better power solutions.. Oh, & there is even a power truck dude you can summon on your app to come to your car.. Without you being there, & charge it up to any given preferred amount all through the app.. Unmatched power solutions.. You can say come prepared or 3000 cycles LFP packs or whatever.. But time is also a factor, & to choose to sit for 30 or 40 min.. Charging or 5 min for swapping is a no brainer IMHO. ✅️
