Literally have the exact same review!!! 😂 EXCEPT...I have very sad troubled skin. This foundation is one in a million. And for those worried about fragrance....don’t. My skin which reacts to literally everything didn’t react to this. In fact I didn’t realize there was even fragrance in this. So do with that what you will! I do want to note! That there is an acnegenic/ somewhat pore clogging product in the MATTE primer. So steer clear of it if you struggle with acne like I do! I too did not see anything special in the primer. Today I just used the foundation and it had the same effect on my skin! Loved how this looked on my acne (ew? But needed to be said) didn’t cling to dryness. I love the “cool whip” texture and it really does feel GOOD on my face. It didn’t break up as my face oils came through. THIS IS THE CAKE-FREE GROWN ASS WOMAN FOUNDATION OF MY DREAMS.

The fragrance is the first thing I noticed in this foundation. I absolutely LOVE the way it looks and wears on my dry skin, but I have to return it because the smell is so overpowering to me that it almost makes me sick. Smells like old lady perfume. I am very sensitive to scents in general though, so I'm sure that's why. There's just no reason to add unnecessary bullcrap like fragrance, I wish companies would stop doing that.

I got a sample of the foundation several days ago. I do like the foundation. I have dry, more mature skin. The second day I built up the product and liked it better. It held up through a gym trip last night. I did set it with powered. It’s a nice foundation. I also bought a lip crayon in Stinger, and I love it!

I really like that you mentioned the amount of fragrance in the product, and how it might affect those with sensitive skin. I've watched a couple of other reviews where it wasn't mentioned at all. I never used to have sensitive skin or dry skin, but I started on Differen a few months ago (which has done a beautiful job of clearing my skin, so far I'm having like 80% less breakouts) and the Differen has made my skin so dry and so sensitive. I had to make a lot of changes to the products I use on it, otherwise my skin gets little rashes, redness and flakes a lot. Anything with denatured alcohol, fragrance, essential oils, sulphates, astringents etc, I can't use anymore. And this unfortunately does include spfs, primers, foundations and concealers. 😭

I bought the system (primer, foundation, powder) the first day it launched, LOVE IT. Honestly the best natural foundation. I have normal to dry skin. it looks really beautiful on the skin. The powder is the only pressed powder I can wear without looking heavy or dry.

I couldn't wait to wash it off, my skin looked so dry! I also had irritation, some redness, and an itchy feeling, and I don't have particularly sensitive skin. I was disappointed especially after the hype, I wanted to love it! Maybe Bite will come out with something more hydrating and gentle in the future.🤷‍♀️🙏🏻💜 Thanks for sharing your experience! Only foundation that I have used that has not left my skin dry and flaky. I always make sure to moisturize really well but still every other foundation I have used has left my skin flaky almost like a bad reaction to something. This foundation is definitely a change maker. I can now wear a foundation with out being self conscious of skin flaking. It wears super nice and I prefer a light coverage look to just even out the complexion, it is really good at that but also super buildable for when I'm feeling a bit extra! Very nice natural finish.

i think it's more that they can be irritating if you have more sensitive skin, but they aren't necessarily irritating, if your skin gets along with them it shouldn't be a problem, my skin has no problems with them ☺

I got this foundation too. I loved it from the first wear! So much so, that I jumped on camera to do a quick video. I didn't get the powder or primer, but it seemed like we had the same experience. I'm not surprised though, it seems like we tend to like similar complexion products. Today is my second day wearing it, and I accidentally squeezed out too much product. It was a lot more coverage! Like full glam coverage. I don't know how they did it, but it seems like a lot of different skin types and finish preferences are going to like this one. Early 2020 prediction...Bite Beauty is going to be in a lot of people's end of the year favorites videos.

I bought this foundation and I have oily skin. It honestly looks very skin-like and wears nice. However, I do have to blot throughout the day and it also transfers. So far I like it, but I still need to play around with it more 😇 Hope this helps for the oily girls out there like me 🙋🏻‍♀️

I feel like the fragrance is more of a concern not so much because of the smell of it but because it's essential oils that are very irritating to the skin. Also, I've heard it mentioned that there is olive oil in either the primer or the foundation, I'm not sure which, and that can compromise your skin barrier. I'm not sure what the aim was of including things that are not great for the skin in a complexion product.

I have combination skin where my t zone normally gets shiny after a couple of hours. Today is my first day wearing it and so far so good. It is definitely lightweight, has a very skin like effect and so far my skin hasn’t had nearly as much shine. I did the foundation only since I’m not a big primer person. The scent is a little stronger for me but I am sensitive to smells and like Jaime said it does dissipate pretty quickly. I only noticed it for a few minutes.

Hey Jamie, in all honestly I feel like the concealer was already not looking 100% prior to the powder. Perhaps the under eye was more drier then normal. I have more lines now under the eyes. Its hard using a coloured powder under the eye without it making it look cakey. I just turned 31 2 days ago. welcome to the fine lines haha. You still looked beautiful and cant wait to try the foundation.
