The Southern Museum of Flight is indeed a great museum. I visited briefly last October. The "overspill collection" at the end of the road would make many museums jealous!

The best flight museum in the south is the Museum of Naval Aviation at Naval Air Station Pensacola, Pensacola, Fl. Not even a contest.

@Byrd_history Everything the navy has ever flown from WW1 to today. It's like a naval aviation wing of the Smithsonian. Worth the trip.
