Is This The Best Les Paul Style Guitar? Wolf Guitars.

I have a number of Les Paul style guitars. Gibson, Epiphone, Agile, Ibanez and now........WOLF! I think this may be the best non Gibson Les Paul.

Hi Rick, You're talking about the AIO Wolf WLP 750T Electric Guitar. The total cost of that guitar w/case is a total of $546.41 is what I paid for but it's a great guitar.

I have one . Its incredible . Best LP I ever played / owned . Gibson would not be able to make / obtain this kind of high quality for not even at least over 5K ! A-I-O Wolf LP .... incredible , the real deal . This is where the smart money goes .

Extremely tasteful playing you've got here. Most of the demos I've seen for this guitar feature shred or some variant of metal. This guitar sounds great, though it's unfortunate that your playing skill doesn't come with it. Thanks for the music, and I look forward to more videos!

I just bought a Wolf 335 style and PRS style guitar. Best bang for your buck guitars I've ever owned. Setups on both are top-notch. No need to upgrade anything. All-in-one is a professional shop.

@@rheybusque9752 Not to keep knocking Gibson because I have a long association with Gibson Les Paul's and still love them but honestly there is nothing in the looks, sound and feel of these Wolf LP style guitars that make a Gibson LP worth $2500 more than this Wolf. Just being totally honest (and yes I currently own three Gibson Les Paul Standards so I can say this.)

I purchased this exact same guitar two years ago when they weren't offering the hard case, but regardless, this axe sounds and plays just like my old '75 Les Paul Custom, which I paid $750 for back in the day. This gorgeous $450 axe is just amazing! If you're considering dropping thousands for a Gibson LP, you ought to seriously reconsider, unless owning a status symbol is your only reason for living. Wolf has redefined the affordable professional level guitar. Feel free to check out the reviews of Wolf guitars on Guitar Maxx's KZbin channel if this video hasn't convinced you.

Hello Alan, yeah I've seen the Guitar Max videos too and they seem almost too good to be true. I'm mostly a Strat player but I have a Gibson Les Paul Studio and would love something close to a LP Custom but can't fathom dropping thousands for one. So I take it you recommend the Wolf LP? Fortunately I live about half an hour from their store and I'm planning on going there in person to choose the one I want, judging from Max's videos, they all look gorgeous, might go for the gold top or maybe the black beauty...cheers.

I bought my Wolf WLP 750 Trans Red like Guitar Max but I had to wait a year for the Trans Red Color. The only catch is the *weight*. Your sitting position is the only way to distribute the weight comfortably while practicing. Thanks for a great demo.

You are right about the weight. I have 3 Gibson Les Paul's and 6 Epiphone LP's and the Wolf is heavier than all but 3 of those 9 Les Paul's. I didn't weight my Wolf but it must be close to 10 1/2 to 11 pounds. Not heaviest but pretty heavy.

@@raydandy4899 I appreciate your reply as it is a major consideration before getting the WLP. It is between 10.5 and close to 11 although I don't have the exact weight. I find myself shifting the position on my legs when practicing. The guitar strap if I forget to remove it can play havoc on my neck and back. Still, it is a great guitar and purchase. Certainly solid.

I agree. I have a few videos I did using both clean and overdrive/distortion demos but there is always someone (or a few someones) who will then critique my effects pedal. Like "Your Ibanez Tube Screamer doesn't sound good. Try using a blah, blah, blah.... It's a guitar demo not an effects demo. Listen to the guitar. Thanks for your comments.

@@james.kaloki I love it! Set up was fantastic... My only complaint, and it is petty were two spots of over spray I found on it. Not noticeable to anyone but myself... Other than that, play's great and sounds great. I ordered the Wolf S1, and the W400 since and they were both perfect upon arrival....

Beautiful mother of pearl on the neck inlays, around the body and even on the headstock. great guitar. Not only beautiful looking but plays exceptionally well. Nice playing man! What exact model is that one? It looks different than the WLP750T. I see the head stock does not have the Wolf lettering on the head stock. It has the Wolf logo in the middle though. And it does not have the figuring the red transparent tops I've seen? Could just be the lighting in the vid. It still is a beauty! Right at the end you turned the guitar up and i did see some of the figuring on it. Red Transparent model? Again the lighting might be throwing me off. It yellows everything out a bit. I pulled the trigger on one and it will be here March 2nd! I can't wait to get it!!

It's the lighting. I filmed it on a GoPro and I was trying out a new mini camera light. It didn't work well but I was too lazy to shoot it again. I thought I could fix it with the video software when I edited it but I only made it worse. It a beautiful deep cherry red with a nice flame. The Wolf name is on it but again just horrible lighting. Sorry.

@@atb1325 Thanks for the feedback. The looper is a really inexpensive Donner Looper. It was only $38 on Wish.com. It just works. I have seen a few reviews of this guitar because I'm interested in a lp copy but do not want to buy a Gibson. I have never owned a Gibson because they are just too much. I do own a few very nice guitars. One in particular is worth 7 grand easy. It's a 4 digit Hamer Standard that I bought brand new in 1980. I did see one review of this guitar and the fellow actually showed the poor craftsmanship and all of the other reviews I have seen were entirely happy. Un fortunately I can'w walk into a local store here and pick one up. So I'm interested sand watching. I can certainly hear the voicing. Thanks

Of course I can only comment on the Wolf guitar I received but mine was excellent. I do all my own guitar repairs and set ups so I was looking forward to setting up the Wolf the way I like it. I took it out, plugged it in and it played perfectly. Low action, no buzz and I couldn't find any issues at all. It arrived on a Friday and I took it out and played a gig that night with it. It played and sounded great. I own a lot of guitars including three Gibson Les Paul modals and a small collection of higher end Epiphone Les Paul's and I honestly feel that this Wolf LP ranks right up there with any of them. I hope whoever got one that wasn't correct or had issues sent it back. I bought a Gibson Les Paul Standard back in 2013 from a major online vendor and it had a badly twisted neck that I couldn't fix and I had to return it. It happens. Even a $3000 Gibson can have issues. Thanks for watching. Let me know if you get one and how it worked out.

Your are correct. I own two Agile guitars and paid less than $300 for either one. I also own three Gibson Les Paul Standards. They are not worth $2500 more than an Agile or a Wolf. I am like most everyone in that I tend to hear with my eyes so that Gibson logo does sway me way to often but in a blindfold test I don't know that I would be able to tell a big difference between the Wolf, Agile or Gibson. Do they sound a little different? Yes but that's great and the different doesn't mean one is better than the other. They just have their own little twist. Depending on the song or genre of music one may be more suited to the moment than the other. Quality wise, they are all well built guitars that sound great.

I have the same model, the Wolf LP. Mine is in the honeyburst finish. You won't find a better pro guitar out there for the money, period! It is a gigger out of the box, and you don't have to do a thing to it.

Cool. Hadn't thought of stories in many years. I saw them at a big club in New Jersey (Joint In The Woods) when "Brother Louie" was big. I think that was 1973. I know the next night at the same club "Raspberries" played and they are one my all-time favorite bands. If it sounded like I was playing Brother Louie it was subconscious.
