OK . . . I'm really - no REALLY . . . not into correcting pronunciation stuff . . . but these are two super easy to remember things . . . places in Italian that end in ia - trattoria, farmacia, pasticceria, lavanderia, the stress on all of them is the i at the end - so it's trattorEEa etc . . . and bellissimo (very beautiful) is something you say about a sexy man - if you want to say food is great you say buonissimo (very good). Apologies. ❤

My first steakhouse in Florence back in Dec 2019...got a bottle of Tignanello without knowing anything about it to pair it with the steak... one of my most memorable steak experience

You'd think that KZbinrs would try a different restaurant. Dal Oste is in 99.99% of all bistecca alla fiorentina videos. There's only 100s of other restaurants that aren't tourist haunts

I have been forever hearing the buzz about “Tuscan Beef”. Having the opportunity to indulge in a superb quality steak my longtime friend and myself visited Trattoria Dall ‘ Oste in Florence Italy. What a !!#%#%*#!!! Letdown!!! The meat was mediocre, served too quickly with too much connective tissue, the salad sucked (how can you botch a salad!). The food was more like a laxative and overpriced, despite the deception from the waiter. Not to mention everything was dumped on our table at once. - - - - Should you ever come to Florence …….avoid this place like the plague!!!!! (There is another place of the same name - I am sure that place equally sucks!!!)

I actually went there last year and was not impressed. The steak was too tough, not particularly flavorful and one of the more pricy in Florence. I think there are better options if you look more deeply into the local area.
