I didn’t know that. Fair enough, it’s a lot of money and won’t be either within everyone’s budgets or they can’t justify it.

High prices indeed but they advertise to have sustainable products.

Your video really sealed the deal for me. I don't understand the comments about this bag being expensive. I couldn't find any other bags in the same price range or lower with adjustable torso length, top and front loading, and suspended mesh panel. These features are only on much bigger, heavier and more expensive bags: Deuter Future Vario/Air Trek, Osprey Atmos AG, Osprey UNLTD, etc. I do wish they have two and bigger hip pockets. hopefully they will implement these awesome features on smaller bags as well as incorporating something like the Osprey Autolift system.

This is so comfy, the back system is great. It's also one of the few day bags to be accessed from the front rather than just the top.

@@BackpackingUK for sure. If you value the front access, there is also the great value Decathlon Quechua MH500 backpack with suspended mesh panel (but no adjustable back length). I got the Quechua 30L but with my back length at around 51cm, I didn't feel quite as comfortable. I'm curious to hear your thoughts between this Vaude Brenta 30 and the Stratos you reviewed a while back.

Great review!! I have this backpack in 22, 34 and 44 liters and in my opinion is the best model for intensive activities and hot seasons. This model is really similar to Deuter Futura but cheaper.

I’ve been using Vaude rucksacks for about 22 years and most have been the Alpine style, they have all had the back mesh system which is a huge bonus when compared to brands that don’t use something like it. Although it may add a bit of weight to the rucksack it does helps imo with you deal with the load comfortably. I’ve loaded the 30+4 L alpines up to 9 kg ish ( lugging books about 😂) and never felt the weight or shape of what’s stored pushing on my back. I used a friends Northface reckon think it was once and that thing felt like it was going to ruin me 🤣🤦🏻‍♂️ never ever again.

I have a different model bought some years ago which I got for hiking in Wales and climbing a number of mountains including Tryfan. The weather was atrocious and the rucksack performed fantastically. The quality has to be seen and the mesh air back works a treat. Expensive yes, but will last years and years! The raincover has worn out but bought another cheap one on Amaz..

2 nighter only ? you could pack in 10 tshirts, 10 pants, 10 panties, sleeping bag, and you still didn't cover 50% of the height. How many things do you need for 1-2 nights ?

I’ve reviewed that and really like it. However, I really do like the feature in this of being able to access the main compartment through the front.

I love my Stratos 26 - great day bag and always seems bigger than 26 litres - great padding on the shoulder straps for those long day walks.

Hi, is the backpack still intact to this day? I'm asking because I would like to buy it for my boyfriend, but I've read very mixed reviews regarding the quality of the materials.

i think people are underestimate Liters, calling this a day back pack is funny. How many things you need for a single day? This bag, or any 30L, is good for 5-7 days in the summer, even if you take camping stuff. Not sure really why everyone insist to call it a day pack. Anyway a good video !

I know what you mean. However, there's lots of people (like me) who do full-day hikes (where you need full waterproofs, first aid kit, a jacket, spare socks, food, water filter and sometimes I take a camping stove too. Before you know it, I've filled it! If it's a nice dry sunny day I use my Osprey Talon rucksack.
