Our club only opens 4 times a year for night shoots. In a way that's a good thing, as I just head out there and use other guys n/v stuff. LOL It's a lot of fun, but wow, it takes a lot of getting use to. Thankfully our fellow club members are very generous when it comes to letting other people try out their spendy gear. Not just firearm related stuff, but fishing and archery gear as well. This thing looks so cool. I wish I could justify one.

With battery extender, you can use rechargeable 16650 battery. I get a lot of run time using the 16650.

All I can think about with a thermal sight is trying to use one in AZ in the summer. *Drops sight down* "why is the entire screen just white?, is it broken?"- Thermal user

@mydude_az it's definitely harder in the heat of the summer. When I did the Sidekick 320, it was something like October or winter and the heat deviation was far more apparent.

This unit is helmet mounted thermal and not rated for rifle use. Armasight 640 is rated as a clip on.

Refresh rate on these are subpar, price reflects the cons. These thermals are useful helmet mount no doubt.

Did some hunting of my own using some newly issued thermals before retirement. Now I make permanent ass indentations on the couch. Hunting coyotes and mules? ;)
