For those of us with man sized hands , i think the pinky rest or "leading edge" is why i shoot the 19x better than the 45, and the trigger clearly better on the 19x

Can you still take a piss with that thing on? Or do you have to take it off every time you use the bathroom?
@RTTGunsGear11 сағат бұрын
@isaakjunkeer785 I have many times. It's definitely easier with a shorter light though..lol. But that's a struggle with any appendix holster. It is obviously easier if you take the holser off though.

I got one of these a few months ago and love the fit but had to disconnect the mag carrier because the angle of the mag carrier just didn’t fit my body. I wish they made the mag carrier cant adjustable, because now I have a $45 paper weight.
@RTTGunsGear10 сағат бұрын
@FlowBaka I'm not sure that I know of any AIWB holster that has a cant adjustable carrier. But that's unfortunate for you man. Sorry to hear that. Is there enough room on the tegris flexible piece to punch new holes in a different orientation? Just a thought. Thanks!
@FlowBaka9 сағат бұрын
@ I have a Blackhawk stache for a M&p shield that is adjustable. And I looked at the tegris part and I don’t think there is enough material. I just went back to a dark star gear koala with soft loop.
@RTTGunsGear9 сағат бұрын
@FlowBaka I had to look up the Stache. Seems like a really wide footprint. Not sure I'd like that too much. But I may get one to play around with it. If for no other reason that to just be informed about what is out there. Thanks man! And at least you found something that works for you from Dark Star.
@FlowBaka8 сағат бұрын
@@RTTGunsGear the stache is injection molded I think and doesn’t have the quality feel of a werkz but it gets the job done. And I agree with you being wide. Fortunately the shield being smaller helps. If it was light bearing than it would be a no go.

Worked at a gun range years ago and psa guns made their way onto the range often. I have to say if your trying to drive nails psa is not the gun for you but if you want honestly respectable lethal groupings they will preform as needed. Yes there is quality control issues they had but I attribute that to the volume they put out. Are they top tear no would I recommend them to a first time buyer and shooter yes in a heart beat because they are like the gateway drug. I’m not telling someone new to guns to go out and buy a 1000 plus dollar pistol or rifle I’m gonna point them in psa direction get them in get them started then if they like it they can drop the money on better forearms

Great and honest video! Did you ever re barrel it or send it in for a new one? What round count are you at now?
@RTTGunsGear7 сағат бұрын
I did re-barrel it. I put an 11.5 Ballistic Advantage barrel in it. I couldn't say what the round count is now. Maybe only another 3000 or so. I don't shoot it much these days, as I have far nicer ones that I shoot. The Anderson Frontline 11.5 took the place of this.

If you could plug this thing in on your nightstand, it would make sense. But the rechargeable battery seems pretty lame. How often do you need to recharge this thing, if you have to take the light apart to do it? I might as well just swap it for a fresh stream light battery that I know is good. Normal batteries last a long time, unless you are larping in your house. I think I might change mine now that it has been a couple years The x doesn’t even come with the rechargeable battery lol. You have to buy it separately (learned that the hard way). So They are the same light out of the box, you can even swap the heads…

Of course you don't need to, but it costs time and adds another movement which you have to practise, adding another possible source of error. I had the same problem with my G19.3 and had to practise to overcome it. Im glad they fixed this with the gen. 5, where I can reach it without shifting my grip.
@RTTGunsGear4 күн бұрын
@johannnburghaus8469 I would like to see the data points across a large group of shooters that shows that it costs time. But yes. Just like any movement. It does take practice. But it just becomes part of your reload and as natural as anything else.

You're partially right about moving it as far forward as you can, but you have another foot and a half of rail you can move it on to. If your rail is properly mounted it won't move. I've had several (more than 10) and I've never had one move in 20+ years that has had an optic mounted on it. You torque it properly, it won't have an issue, and if you are strong enough to flex the tube, you don't have a quality tube. Oh, and that's why they have railed free floats, for this very reason-- to mount stuff to...
@RTTGunsGear5 күн бұрын
@EnergizerTX While in a perfect world you're 100% correct. But I also didn't make this up on my own. Not mounting on the rail is common practice. And while it's not a matter of "it will move." But it can. And you're assuming that everyone has a rock solid rail. Which we both know that everyone isn't buying the most sturdy rail and torquing everything just perfect.
