This is exactly what i've been looking for! The dirt around where i live is super hard and rocky. I've chipped tons of different tools in the past. Swett video! ill be picking one up soon!

Yeah man! Its done a great job for me. Seems like anyone else who has em loves them as well.

Yeah, I'll be sure to pick one of these up, I need to fix up a berm that's pretty much made of tar, lol.

I actually just got the one that is more square than triangular, and it looks sooo lethal. It’s so sharp too. Awesome.

I have the Travis tool. It’s a great all arounder and good for repairs and maintenance, but doesn’t have enough weight and size to move serious material and cutting bench.
@BackyardTrailBuilds5 жыл бұрын
Agreed. Thats my only negative about it is the size. It definitely could be a bit larger for some heavy bench cut work. It cuts like a dream but when you go to move material it seems to be lacking. A size choice would be a great idea for them!

More weight encourages people to take big swings and snap handles. It's meant for grubbing motion. If you're digging tough dirt get a 5 lbs mattock, it has an axe handle and piece that absorbs shock from swinging
@Pork15284 жыл бұрын
Definitely inspired from wildland firefighters who often alter their tools to have more options. Also love the hat dude! I got one aswell and by far may favorite! Sendero rocks

Looks okay but it's $90 for a hoe/rake/scrapper combo. You could buy an entire 'arsenal' of tools at HD for that price: Transfer shovel, spade, hoe, rake, mattock A Mcleod is around $30-50 and is good enough
@agusting90363 жыл бұрын
That's true economically speaking but the idea of not having to carry an arsenal to the build site seems attractive.

Suggestion to Rogue: Build the teeth out to the edges. There is room for at least two more teeth for raking!

Any ideas on handle length for someone 6’1”? I’m thinking the 48” but not sure if the 54” handle would be better on my back...
@rocksolidmtb79714 жыл бұрын
I just used the 54" handle today. I'm 6'1" also. The balance was incredible. I would recommend the longer handle.
