Exactly. Plates are faces, frames are edges, joints are vertices. You can move and extrude and the curvatures are basically a very simple kind of subdivision surfaces. Very cool.

Just wait until Dual Universe comes out! It's like Space Engineers, but way more advanced. I think it would be the ultimate free form vehicle crafting system. You build with voxel so you could build anything the way you want. Buildings, vehicles and spacecrafts! Even scripting and programing buttons, displays and much more! I think Dual Universe will be awesome. You could pledge to get alpha access now. I only have a small pledge from when it was on kickstarter so I will get a copy of the game on official release.

I always wonder... Why hadnt anyone else thought of traditional modeling in a game like this? It's just like using a real modeling software like blender but it is even more intuitive, letting you select faces, lines and corners without changing the selection mode... Genius!
