I needed this. I had a not so good day. Physically and mentally tired. I was not able to watch it right away because of some issues. I try to guess the original color(s) of the rug as it begins to be cleaned. I never would have imagined this one was a cream white at the beginning. Thought it would be a medium warm brown. What a transformation breathing new life into this lovely carpet!

Just a comment in response to some of the comments....the number that speak about the effect on them in watching and listening to you work. In a world that is quickly losing touch with reality in exchange for a virtual, digital world, if nothing else, the comments reflect the therapeutic, necessary need for humans to engage with physical (often very repetitive) work as it seems to help keep the brain and body integrated. I see comments on the channel here sometimes like 'This has got to be faked, it's just dirt piled on a rug to clean it...isn't it?' I'm a new homeowner. I found a rug buried about an inch in the dirt in my back garden. It had been used for something and forgotten, and then years of leaves and soil just piled on top of it. I love watching the rugs being cleaned... I think it is a super satisfying showing.. if that makes any sense... Lol. For all of the work that you put into cleaning the rugs like you do..... I can imagine, its not cheap..... So it seems like it would be cheaper and easier for someone to just throw the rug in the garbage and purchase a new rug....

Amazing job! What a beast this thing was. :-o Some questions: How confident had you been you would get it this clean? Why did you not power wash it from below this time? Do you usually check for the general condition of a carpet in beforehand so you know it's not a totally worn out carpet not worth your time and material? And what are some nasty stains even you can't fully clean up? Oil I guess?

Pretty confident as its white and i would have just bleached the hell out of it otherwise haha (but i didnt). I think i did pressure wash the bottom. May have just cut it out.

I believe it's calling rolling, it's a technique that even I'm new to. He doesn't usually show these, so if you don't particularly like when he rolls it (like me) then there are PLENTY of other satisfying videos of his to watch.
