Ibiza will never be over ...just evolves. A lot of us older folk will always remember the 90s fondly, im visiting in June and being going since 94...enjoy it as much now as i did the first time, just in a different way.

Totally agree , its all about moving on, saying that nothing like those hay day times with every thing goes at manumission where famiously radio one DJ Lisa I'Anson partied to hard and ultimately went AWOL from her breakfast show and of course the Beeb and Radio 1 sacked her. noted how Del-Mar down to Mambo has turned all platic , far better when it was all rock and all sand , I happy days and nothing today to beat example space on Sunday and the island vibes of 1990-2000😎

100% agree, I only started going properly in the last 5/6 years with a one off back in mid 2010's ( I'm 35 now) and used to get really upset with people who always bang on about the 'good old days etc' Right up until I met someone who gave some really.good wisdom..... If I go this year and have the time of my life and so on and so forth.... what's that any different to having the time of my life back in the 'golden age' after hearing that it really helped with getting over missing out on the golden age (which I would have, to have been my folks age to be there). ibiza I'd what you make of it, people always look with rose tinted glasses on the past ( it's only natural too) Up the ibiza as long as I'm here

-Pivot the vlog towards interviews, people on the island, that have been living there forever. -Create a space where you control the setting/environment. -Do deep dive with the owners of the places you visit. Sit down somewhere private to do it. -Less walkabouts in SanAn -Walkabouts in dead places, there enough little bays where the people traffic is low.

Hi Dwayne, take a breath, everyone wants to say Hi because they feel better for a moment seeing and briefly speaking with someone they recognise and someone who may well have had a very positive effect on their life. Your videos have touched something deep inside of so many people who love the special magic, beauty and uplifting vibration of the White Island and recognition is one of the small prices to be paid here. Personally I’d love to see more of the interactions with club and bar owners and hear their views on the way the island is evolving. Maybe include a few of the people you meet on your walkabouts and find out their stories, brief thoughts or experiences of the island? Many people who say Hi and that you meet would love to be a short part of your videos, though I completely understand the frustration of losing your train of thought with interruptions these are what keep your videos so real. So keep up the great work, specially at this exciting time when the energy is so high as the island ramps up for the new season. More videos the better. Hope to get over again in September and it would make our break if we saw you out and about 😊

I agree with some previous comments on this post, interviewing people you meet whilst taking your vlogs and asking them what they love about Ibiza 1. Takes pressure off you 2. Is a buzz to hear about 3. Keeps your content on track about what you’re here for. I guess it’s part of a growing business, finding out what you’re comfortable with. I hope you find that balance. Btw I’d totally say Hello. Vlogs give people a view into something so positive and give us energy when we are sitting at home when all we want to do is be There ! I went alot during the early 00s and really loved it. I went back last year after 15 years and while i still had a good time, especially the beach bars and things, the super clubs were just too much. Ridiculously packed. Dont get me wrong I've been to packed places but this was serious dangerous levels of packed!

@@stevenponte6655 I was there in 2004 all the summer . I party like crazy but i was 27 then. I gone back in 2015 but just fir 1 week and at the end of the season. No party just relax . I still have friends who move there in 2002 and never left. Their children are growing up now there.

Ibiza is still magic but you do feel for people who didn't see the best days of it, it was never really cheap but far less organised and commercial. 90s, 00, teens, to now has changed so much but you still now you are there.

My first visit was in 99, happened to be in Amnesia for Cream, one of the nights they were filming Kevin & Perry. Went back in 2000, 2002 & 2008. Could see how things had changed even by 2008, Space terrace glassed over, DC10 terrace covered over & commercial places like Ushuaia appearing. Now Space has gone & replaced with another commercial VIP heavy place called Hi! Would love to go back again, now aged 45. I dare say it’s still good but glad I went back when Manumission was at its peak at Privilege with 10,000 people in there & Ministry of Sound on a Friday at Pacha.

As the channel grows you will grow more attention. It must be strange hearing people call your name but I'm sure you'll find a way of dealing with it. I love seeing Ibiza out of season with you strolling the streets sharing it's downtime. I'm with the person who suggested doing more videos of the more peaceful parts of the island not just the main tourist parts. I'd love to see more interviews with people who have been working or living on the Island and hearing their stories about their Ibiza experience. Love the channel and your chilled back vibes. ❤

My first trip was back in 2000. Instantly got hooked on that special vibe. Went every year, sometimes two or three times. My last visit was in 2008. I am considered an old man now, and sometimes watching these videos that hurts. :-)

Everyone's life has pros and cons. I used to work for the UN and I travelled a lot. My friends thought it was like a permanent holiday but all i ever saw was airports and meetings. Ibiza will always go on but, crazy costs aside, it has changed and keeps changing. It is natural for the old hands like me to look back on what were glory days, for us. In 20 years, today's visitors will look back on their best days.

Went to ibiza 1983 on my first lads holiday at 17yrs of age. Wham was in the charts with Club Tropicana which was filmed in ibiza too. Absolutely loved it!!! Wish I was there now. Obviously I didn't touch alcohol then as I was under age 🤪🍺

Hey Dwayne - with all the full solar eclipse hype recently I decided to see when and where the next one is and guess what? It's in Ibiza on 16th August 2026! And that's full totality, not a partial eclipse. Last full eclipse in Ibiza was 1905 so this is going to be a mega rare event! It will occur around 8pm. Imagine sat at Del Mar when this happens. I see Ibiza slowly turning into an all year round island offering slightly different things for winter vs summer. Just what I’ve seen from Ibiza being a 2-3 month party place to now it’s on what? March to October? 7-8 months now? With all the constant construction and redevelopment I see the island slowly turning into a 12 month economy.
