I hope all goes well with work. We don't have strikes at the university, but professors are only 9-month employees so we go all summer without pay. I try to be really good about saving, but I also know when we are off and can plan for it. With a strike, there isn't a lot of notice. I will keep my fingers crossed that all goes smoothly.
