lets be honest, this are by far the most amazing mountains i ever saw in a video game

The two bird mounts are a Common Blackbird and a Kingfisher. Playable character species in the trailer: Human, Faun, Satyr, Rabbit, Polar Bear, Otter, Frog, Warthog, Wolf, Fox, Badger, Groundhog...maybe a Skeleton. At least what I saw frame by frame... NMS is also persistent so that isn't a change. If you build a mold farm, be ready for people to move in next door lol. Even if a million people are playing this game at once, it'll be super easy to find your own space. But that'll be the fun of this game. Not only finding your own cool spot no one knows about, but also visiting whole cities people have built together. It's like an MMO without the stupid pvp and enough space to avoid other players.

Im going to say you and every player is just magic, likely due to something like the fact you can respawn. You are alegedly not, the hero, so I doubt its some deep and voice acted story line. Most likely this faction just likes the magic people and you are one so they bow. There isn't proof either way, but fans overhyped NMS and inadvertently put extra stress on hello games when they were already under quite a bit. I advise tempering expectations and not throwing out things like "the bunnies bowed which means there is a deep story!" there could be, yea, but them bowing could also just be the equivelant of a fancy npc wave. Honestly them trying to make a fully realized planet is crazy enough... I mean really. 'Most' current open world games are the size of cities at most. A planet sized one is insane.

i really hope that they do a better job of making it co-op friendly. In No Man Skies, we couldn't stand playing the game cause we didn't experience the real time environment. I'd be witnessing a storm, and my buddy be like, "it's clear sunny day for me." Yet we are standing next to each other.

yea the syncing in NMS multiplayer is bad but this is likely a side effect to adding multiplayer later, this game launches with it so maybe it will be improved.

looks really good to be honest, my expectation is: - it'll be more feature rich than NMS was at launch - it'll be less feature rich than NMS is now - it'll have more RPG mechanics than NMS - whilst being totally open multiplayer in the same world, it'll retain features to let you not interact with others to various degrees (including stopping people damaging your bases). - it'll have some kind of direct story link to NMS

I can't get over the size of those mountains, I hope Sean truly means what he said about them, but riding dragons was the cherry on top of being an open world fantasy game that's literally an open world. So far, I'm sold on the idea, I hope it lives up to expectations, but seeing how much Hello Games have learned since NMS, I'm confident in their ability to deliver this game. In the scene where they're hunting boars you can see what looks like a little stream. So there's at least some river action going on. And judging from how much more advanced the terrain looks compared to NMS, and the fact there are boats, I'm sure rivers at least will be present. True water physics and waterfalls though? Sounds like you haven't heard of many games coming out...Next year(s) is going to be insane. I doubt this game will even be noticed due to how many epic open worlds that are coming out. Crimson desert, Where Winds Meet, Gothic 2, Dragons Dogma 2, Archeage 2, Dragon Age Dreadwolf, Ark 2, Project Mugen, Vahrin's Call, Visions of Mana, Palia, Dune Awakening, Throne and Liberty mmo, Ashes of Creation mmo, Chrono Oddesey, Past Fate, I only just found out about This game, and although it has design down, it needs so much more combat vitalization which I doubt will make it into the game.

​@@Crea_TV Most are just typical single player rpg and some typical mmos with pay to win elements(prject mugen) or pay to play monthly element(Ashes of Creation). that have limits. Ashes of creation is good. but you can't fly dragons in first person perspective and don't have mt everest size mountains. Not saying they are bad. JUST DIFFERENT GAMES. Light no Fire might be the best for exploration fantasy open world multiplayer game that don't have SERVERS/Channels. I can't remember a game like this. Even Valheim is limited. and Minecraft is big but It is not immersive for me it is not that shared online world. most are just playing by themselves or friends or servers. If you experience the shared world in No man sky implemented to this. This will be amazing. You don't have to create a party to see your friends. Or even create a 50 man server to see other builds. You can just build a house in random spot. then stop playing. Other people will discover your house even if you stopped playing for 10 years.

@@Raianrod it kinda reminds me of conan exiles but combined with dragons dogma, if the gameplay is exactly like conan exiles with just a few more things like fantasy heavily stylized magic, I'm fully invested but I'm pretty on the edge of my seat for crimson desert, then Pax dei then DD2, I can agree with your sentiment towards the other games though, just kinda excited that SOME games will be great next year, this year was disappointing 😞 Also did not know ashes was gonna take that long wow, I mean I'm glad, their animations much like Vahrin's call are worse than skyrim lol. The feat of creating so many worlds in NMS is amazing in itself. It almost seems like a no brainer for the studio to attempt a single planet next. Despite the horrible launch of NMS, I actually have confidence in them when it comes to environments and level design. They've proved capable in that area. Combat and story are areas where they need help.

Depth of a roleplaying game is very ambitous. You need to have a lot of options for character roles, which means a lot of systems that interact with the world. Combat systems, economy systems, contruction, exploration, etc. Entire systems someone can focus on to fill a specific role in the world.

Look, I know game developers think there's more PVP players than not, but every single time PVP is introduced, or becomes the main stay of a game, the game implodes on itself. Who wants to be halfway logged in and get killed? No one. Ever. Who wants to spend 100's of hours making best equipment to lose it five minutes after walking out the "safe" zone? No one ever. Not even the dumb PVP'ers. Who are the first people to abandon a game because you can't do anything without getting killed? PVP'ers. PVE, fine. Bring it on. Make it reasonable. But PVP (anywhere/everywhere) is the fastest way to decimate your player base lol. Frankly, PVP that is unavoidable on an MMO is the fastest way to ensure at least 49% of possible players won't even log in to a free version, let alone buy. And during "high population play times" for certain time zones around the world, it becomes stressful for those who didn't want to spend their precious time building something up for Clockwork Orange destructo brain deads to come and tear it all down.

i love the art style. the game looks incredible. There is something to be said about a true planet scale, yes games have done something similar but those planets i.e. no mans sky, star citizen and games of the like, those planets are a lot smaller in comparison to earth itself, so this game is super exciting, so long as they don't release this game in a similar state at which they launched no mans sky.

Even with all the info we have I still have lots of questions. Will there only be one shared online shard with a single seed of the planet or will there be multiple shards each with their own seeds or will all the shards share the same seed? Will every player start in the exact same place centralizing exploration or will it be determined by their starting race? Will the different races have any faction relations like WoW's Horde and Alliance? What are the rewards for discovering something new in the online game world? Do we get to name the area, island or whatever it is after ourselves or our username? How deep underground can we go? Will there be seasons that effect weather patterns? I'm getting the Elite Dangerous scale of discovery from this game where even after years of it being out only a small percentage of the game area will have been uncovered by players, especially if a flying dragon is our fastest mode of transport so it would take thousands of hours to traverse the planet. Watch, I bet the end of the story for this game it sends you to a new planet with a whole new generation and balance of resources just like NMS does when you reach the center of a galaxy. Can't wait for there to be a massive race in the first few weeks to get to the south and north poles of the planet then for people to start building roads and settlements along trade areas making full on player bandits a viable avenue for emergent gameplay to crop up; that is if it allows PvP in the correct way then I could see it being like a Rust/Valheim but better than both, but from the sounds of it the game is gonna be PvE focused which is totally fine with me. Besides Stalker 2 this is my top game release for next year, if it comes out in 2024 that is. Hope to see lots more from this game soon!

Based on what Murray has said it appears to be a single shared world probably with multi instances. Player count per instances in No man's Sky is 32, LNF might have a higher cap.

This is the first time I've heard about this. I am excited. I seriously can't remember the last game I felt any kind of interest in, easily over 10 years. I have been playing NMS since launch and still put hours into it now. HG put in real effort into NMS and grew it from something they easily could have abandoned to something epic. The thing HG did to make me want this new thing from them is make a massive game and not put shops and sale items and loot boxes and passes, they gave us 7 years of free content and updates and fixes. This could be amazing if they keep up their philosophy of entertaining us without draining our wallets.

The flying mounts appear excessively fast compared to the characters' ground speed. Landscapes that seem majestic and expansive from the ground level lose their grandeur when you begin flying and quickly zooming around. Even the mountains, which appear imposing from below, can be reached at their summit within mere seconds when flying. Based on what I've seen in this video, that's my impression, although I hope I'm mistaken.

I would be awesome to have people that buy the game populate the earth. People will get spawned in random locations. If play with friends, you spawn together.

would be cool if the ecosystem would modify depending of the way you exploit ressources, for eample predators that could go instinct from the hunting and make other animal overpopulate etc.

Damn it looks so nice but i really hope its not resking of NMS. Multitool=Staff, you can mine dig etc Ships=Dragons and other flying creatures. I noticed that starting sequence is THE SAME as NMS. You go up, your ''landing gear (legs now) fold and instand boos forward. Exocrafts=Horses and other fauna Glider= Actually looks like something new, gj Anywyas, REALLY hyped for this and i hope it wont be a flop at launch like nms...
