Is this the future for man? Frederik Pohl's "Man Plus" Spoiler free review.

Tonight I review Frederik Pohl's "Man Plus". I continue my journey ranking all the Hugo and/or Nebula winning novels on the ever growing SF Shed Ladder.

I was surprised by the touches of humor and the nods to Kafka. I enjoyed it. I got to meet him in the 90s. Very good-natured and easy-going, at least to his fans. I have no idea why no one has made it into a film yet.

What a thrill it would have been to meet Frederik Pohl! I agree, I think Man Plus and The Heechee Saga would make great movies.

@@thesci-fished To my shame, though, I hadn't read a word he'd written till long after he'd passed. I should've had a copy of Man Plus for him to sign. I really like that novel. Oh, well. I was just a stupid kid.
