A place to visit where it all happens is Bali Aquarich in Indonesia. They have a master Angelfish breeder wenn Peng Su. A lot of world first captive bred species come from Bali Aquarich. Also visit Poma Labs in the United States. They are specialized angelfish breeders. They specialize in breeding genicanthus and chaetodonplus genus angelfish.

Best video you've made yet. TMC is incredibly impressive. Capturing fish as plankton is absolutely genius! The number of species that can be bred in captivity will surely grow, but being able to get many other species when they are still in the planktonic stage can truly change the hobby and seems so much more responsible than taking them as adults or even juveniles. Bravo!

So nice to see how things work 'behind the scenes'. From wat I saw they take very good care of the fish and coral. And their efforts being more sustainable and helping researchers is also very nice. The facility's look very good as well. Clean and professional. The fish I buy at my LFS in the Netherlands also come from TMC, and now I know why I practically always get healthy fish 😃Great video man!

I’m portuguese, and i used to work in a fishstore. It is true that maybe a fish from TMC is not sheap, BUT you know that it will be a healthier and happier fish! They are very professional! And it is so cool that you show that in your youtube account for everyone to see!! 💪💪

I know im going to sound like a hater but im not, I love what TMC do and I support them all the way however....... They don't support the local breeder in UK. Im a hobbyist that bred my Frostbite Clownfish successfully and reared over 100 babies. I asked TMC if they were interested in buying any of the offspring to which I received a swift reply of thanks but no thanks. I felt very disappointed as I was proud of what I had achieved and thought they would have the attitude of the Sebastian in Lisbon, one of support. Im lucky I had a few lfs that were willing to help me out with selling the babies on but when I rang TMC I had no idea where all these babies were going to go when ready and as such I was panicking. I understand I got myself into the situation and I got myself out of it, I just expected a little more from TMC. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿❤🐠 Edit. Massive props to Sebastian and his team for their obvious dedication, those tanks were spotless 👌👌

I have a 17 year old blue hippo Tang which is a wild-caught specimen I got no problem with captive breeding but the problem is is politics to get into all of this and that's the problem there's plenty of fish out there in the ocean for hobbyist the problem is politics get involved in it just like with the yellow tang today there's millions of them out there but politics again and red tape got to stick their nose in everything the percentage of fish caught for the saltwater aquarium trade is very very small

Lol relaxed! Sure he is relaxed dude. They are stressed fish not relaxed and you say your an expert 😂 why not show the supposed larvae stage? Because it’s not true that’s why they didn’t show show the larvae stage. Why lie ? Ahh yeah content for the channel 😂😂😂😂
