Everything costs as much as people are willing to pay for it If you want to get critical most things in this life are overpriced An iPhone or Samsung is not worth close to 2000$ The R&D patents etc etc don't justify that price It's mass produced toy phones Ipad pro are not worth over 1k And honestly even watches like RM etc are not worth 300k 500k plus But people pay it So vote with your wallet and buy what you think is worth it for you. And skip what u don't like
