I think there is a difference between a new release that people initially don't like for whatever reason, and a "new model" that, in my opinion, is a very lazy design that shares far too much with the Nautilus. If TS hates the Nautilus, then why make a new watch that is a square Nautilus? I would expect more in a new model from such a prestigious brand.

I'd realy love to buy that one, too. But, I already bought lots of watches this year (sigh......)

nonsense, Rolex have always been in backwardation. For the last 20 years Rolex have always been relatively hard to purchase especially the sports models or anniversary models . 2016/17 flipping started.

I don’t like the horrible green colors Rolex uses. The green in their watches just pokes my eyes. The Rolex Daytona Paul Newman with its brown and turquoise colors is just a horrendous combination. The crown doesn’t resemble a king’s crown but more a joker’s hat. The Speedmaster from Omega looks much better.

I always travel with my quartz swatch IWC looking chrono, and a more simple attractive steel 3 had quartz Tisso and I’m just fine with that. I’m always happy with my wrist reunion with my Omega speedmaster and my IWC Fieiger chrono when I return home to the U.S.

I travel to Europe with my G-Shock. It's tough. It has multiple time zones. It also has alarms. And, it's under the radar and won't cost me an arm and a leg to replace.

Get some blue tape and use it around the buckle a few times so it’s much harder to take off by a thief, blue tape doesn’t leave a gummy residue

Give it a year and you will probably be able to grab one for £200-£400 on the used markert in mint condition. Though I must say Im growing less and less interested in mechanical/automatic movements as the are more fuss than they're worth not to mention the addtional cost on retail plus long term maintenance. Quartz is the way forward, set it and forget it.

Everywhere that isn't Barcelona. 1. Quartz Tag Formula 1 on a jump nato. Basic do everything all day watch on a unique band. Stretch band and inside nato strap tuck is different for someone trying to get it. 2. Tissot PRX Auto 80 with rubber and leather straps. If I'm going out at night. Versatile with the different straps. In Barcelona, maybe not even my G-Shock. It's one of the best cities to visit for Architecture & Urban Planning but unfortunately it's also worst city I've ever been to for pickpockets. I love cities with great public transport but I still avoid metro there. Heard of a recent theft there where the guy was distracted by what he thought was bird poo landing on him, friendly local offers to help clean him up and left with the GMT Master off his wrist.

After watching you talk all that shit about the brand and act like a 2yo when you’re there it’s pretty funny how two faced you look, but hey anything for the algorithm to send you few views just mention Rolex. Your brothers Hulk videos in the other hand are pretty cool

One minor suggestion, on a watch review you should show the watch.

What good is expensive watch you don't dare put on when you leave in the morning on your way to work? Men you use their hands to work don't wear Rolex. Myself included... My $ 25 Casio keeps better time, is more rugged and will outlast any Rolex. It's on my hand 24 x 7, I work as a mechanic. I swim in it, play sports...etc. All I want from a watch is accurate time. I never had a need to impress others with the brand of watch I wear. Or with clothes, shoes, sun glasses, etc.

You're absolutely and 100% right! I've always seen it like you, but felt like an outsider. I really don't know, how they can keep the prices so high, as they produce 1.2Mio. pieces a year! Is the demand really that high? I would never buy a Rolex, because it comes not even near to be worth the price. Almost none of the models have any features/complications, but just 3 hands and a date wheel. And I really don't want to talk about the design. On this subject I would just like to say this: Most models are ugly and don't even look being valuable.

Tudor has never claimed it as limited edition. The reason they put the price on the website is for people to realise the actual price of this watch compared to the grey market price. With that said, it does come in such limited quantities in boutiques so good luck getting one if you are not a strong tudor advocate to begin with.

Same reason I won’t own a Rolex. Needing to lick their backsides to own their products? No I am not grovelling and demeaning myself begging an AD for a watch

I watched the MAX series the Bookie just last week. The Bookie took a Richard Mille instead of the cash he was owed. He wore it to a restaurant, the waiter saw it and called a friend. In the parking lot it was taken. This is a shitty world.

You are absolutely correct on all fronts. I much prefer my Vacheron Constantin 222 in stainless steel. Somewhere between 500 and 1000 were ever made. That seems much more collectable and worthy of a high price tag

My #1 travel tip for travelling with expensive watches: take just one, and wear it. NEVER pack a watch, not even in your carry-on. You carry on, and someone else will carry off.

The piece that really got my attention from H.Moser &Cie was the Swiss Alp watch. That watch has the resemblance of the Apple Watch but it’s mechanical. Not to disrespect any smartwatch users but when I first saw it I thought it was a “F*** smartwatches” statement from Moser😂
