Hello Don, All my years of living in Las Vegas, I have always seen taxicabs either as a sedan or as a minivan , but I have never seen one as a pickup truck. So, yes it was quite unusual, and good question, how do you transport cargo on a rainy day?

Don, word of advice. For a brief period during the Great Depression 15 years ago I had to drive a cab to put food on the table in that city. We were firmly told to NEVER drive in those alleys in the hood. You are inviting the thugs to rob and kill you. DON’T DO THAT DON.
