He's done the same thing the last 3 shows. Throws the Theorem, has a good look, lets one go sailing right to miss the headpin and missed the spare all three times. Dude should have 3 titles plus the major by now.

Any professional bowler who wins a title deserves it. Do you know how difficult it is to win one of these tournaments? These silly comments that say the guy didn’t deserve it are just laughably ridiculous. His bowling during the week, and his ability to do enough to win when it mattered, says differently.

Krol was definitely nervous. He was SPOT ON against Tackett to make the show and bowled great to get to match play in the first place. I look forward to seeing him on television more often because he has the ability to do it.

David Krol definitely got every break imaginable in the Bill ONeil match. Not many matches that you win when you get nearly four brooklyn strikes. Sometimes better be lucky 🍀 than anything else. I’m sure Neil is saying to myself are you serious.

He was playing the brooklyn because that's what the lane was giving him. Those were largely intentional, not accidental.

I’ve never been watched a bowling match, after watching some of your videos, I have an interest in watching some more bowling, the way you said the lanes transition, is a bit like the pitch in cricket changing, giving more swing, or spin, and the bowlers have to adapt to it, very interesting

Thanks for making this. Ive haven't watched it yet but I've seen so many "undeserved" comments by people who have no idea what they are talking about I hope you explain why the #2 seed got lucky and had all his hard work pay off. I think if you look back over the history of the PBA you can find moments where huge luck has benefitted a player and taken them to a title. Steve Cook carried a number of Brooklyns to beat Earl Anthony in the title match in Long Island in the early 80s. Charlie Tapp did likewise again Cook at the Greater Hartford Open in 1989 to win a title. Joe Berardi carried several brooklyns on tv to win a title one year. Emmett Shutes versus Early Anthony at the 1979 Showboat was the luckiest, that catapaulted him to hos only PBA title.

The Brooklyn Kid should be Krol's nickname. Nothing sets a pro bowler on fire more than their opponent getting multiple Brooklyn strikes. O'Neill couldn't have been very happy about his match with Krol.
@strongereveryday2302
@strongereveryday2302 8 ай бұрын
Why? Because Boog recognized the lane was giving him Brooklyn's so he played it that way? Are Brooklyn strikes illegal or invalid? No. If Bill is upset he should have made better shots. This gatekeeper crap has got to stop. This is why bowling is dying. You can't just be happy someone won their first title.

These Krol D riders need to chill out. We know he obviously is a great player because he made the finals. We are just stating the obvious. He got very lucky with a ton of his breaks. The look on his face says it all. He wasnt happy with his ball motion and knows that his shots were not hitting great. YES I UNDERSTAND that “it dont matter what way they go down. 10 is 10”. Im not saying to take it away from him. Just stating the obvious that Oniells shots were much more on target but had bad breaks. Meanwhile Krol was very off target but had lucky breaks.

Makes me wonder why they didn’t try urethane. You know, the type of ball that hooks less but they use on fresh for some reason
@dominicfrabotta565
@dominicfrabotta565 8 ай бұрын
Not really how urethane works. It starts to move earlier, so on this pattern it would lose it's momentum, and you'd have virtually no carry.
@anthonyremley1575
@anthonyremley1575 8 ай бұрын
Urethane isn’t for “dry lanes”. Urethane made to hook early and just fade the rest of the way. People use urethane on fresh to get the ball to read early and not go sideways when the ball exits the end of the pattern. Urethane on this shot would’ve hooked at the bowlers feet

I wonder how many people in the comments were aware that Boog had to face EJ in a best of 7 to even make the show in the first place and he did phenomenal in that match. A relative newcomer having to go against the reigning player of the year and he did it well. He deserved everything he got here.

I just don't like this style of bowling. Kudos to Krol for outlasting everyone, but what happened to the lob line? These guys are flinging the ball halfway down the alley! And when does a bowler start his approach almost in the other alley? My god, call me old, I don't care. But juiced balls and juiced lanes is NOT bowling. It looks like pinball for gods sake. If someone can perfect the game by using the balls and the alleys that the PBA is allowing, to their advantage, good luck to them. But I just don't care for the way the modern game has been rigged.

This is the stepladder final of a professional bowling tournament. The advice they teach you in high school doesn’t apply to this 😂 If you’re throwing Brooklyn strikes in a PBA match, you are doing something very wrong. Heck, just look at Boog’s reactions to his Brooklyn strikes. I’m a fan of The House Bowling so I was rooting for Boog, but you talking about some advice your son got in high school isn’t “news for the haters” 🤦‍♂️
