Hatcher Pass is beautiful. Happy that you drove to the Willow side. It is a steep and narrow road but a beautiful drive.

Wow, thank you! We started out with no experience at all! The early days were a struggle...lol We were enjoying our newfound freedom, so we kept at it, and it has gotten easier. I still struggle with feeling like we could do things better, more storytelling ect! I guess that just means more room for growth. Thank you for your kind words... i have been in a funk the last fews days so I very much appreciated them!

One more thing, did you know Chrome from Vancity Valife has been in Yukon Canada for the past month. He got very close to Alaska in Dawson City abut 2 weeks ago but never got into Alaska. Maybe you connected with him in that part of Canada as you were coming back from Alaska?
@oneadVANtureatatime5 ай бұрын
We were hoping to be there by now, but we have some obligations in anchorage that is keeping us close by. Dawson City is currently a 11-hour drive for us. I think he will be headed south before we make it there.
@julien29125 ай бұрын
@@oneadVANtureatatime In his video from yesterday he was back in Dawson City again but I am sure he recorded that about a week ago. I think he is heading back south soon. Are you showing the reason you have obligations in Anchorage in a video?

@@julien2912 we might talk about it briefly but it's just some medical assessment appointments for Dave. All Dave's medical is through Veteran Affairs. Nothing to report really. We thought we could get these done while we were in Alaska and We would already be done had they not (incorrectly) 🤷♀️ scheduled these appointments in South Dakota

Dave, have you ever had your drone repaired? Could you share where you had it done? I have a DJI if that makes any differrence.
@oneadVANtureatatime5 ай бұрын
The first year we bought the insurance but when it came time to cash in on some repairs we found that the insurance did not cover anything. We did not pay for the insurance after that. We did have to have a drone repaired... we just paid $140.00 (at the time) and they sent us refurbished drone that looked brand new. Hope this helps.
