A few places: Brasov, Sibiu, Cluj, Dracula’s castle, Transfagarasani (best road in the world), Turda, Danube river (second biggest biodiversity in the world and protected by Unesco), Bigar waterfall (said to be one of the most beautiful in the world), you can go to the beach also (a lot of places) but it is not as good as in other countries

Brasov is the most beautiful town in southeastern Europe .And not only the town is beautiful but the surroundings too.15km away from Brasov there is Bran Castle or Dracula Castle and 25 km away another gorgeous castle,Peles Castle.Also,10 km away from Brasov there is the most beautiful mountain resort ,Poiana Brasov.So Brasov is such a well placed town with so many things to see around/.And soon ,in 1 and a half years from now ,Brasov will have an airport ,too

Maybe romanians are already known by the stereotypes that roumor around (gypsies, pickpocketers etc) but when u actually come around and check out the country I think u ll end up with a good impresion. We r in Brasov right now. Loving it. We walked up top Tampa mountain to sign. Very step but loved smells, views, meadow flowers. I'm 57 and not in great shape so rested often. Still so glad I hiked. 2 different trails going up. We took one to right of gondola not under.

Brasov is for sure the most beautiful city in Romania. And you missed some things from it like Parc Aventura (and the beautiful zone with the lake nearby). PS: You need to visit Sinaia and Busteni nearby. In Sinaia you can visit a very beautiful castle (Peles Castle), walk around in the city and the main park and go a bit up on the mountain, and in Busteni go up on the mountain with a cable car, it's beautiful up there.

i'm really glad that you made it to Brasov. this is my hometown, this is where i was born and i am so proud about it. my school was in the old town, i also go to college still in the old town. you have a lot of places to relax, i have a lake in my neighbourhood next to the zoo and Park Aventura (which i totally recommend)- where you can climb trees and slide through them and many many other activities. you should give it a shot. have a nice stay here!

I know, right?! I was thinking "That town really _should_ put a sign there, the mountain is *made* for it!" And then there it was! LOL! There's a giant 0 on Table Mountain in northern California. It faces the city of Oroville on the south side of the mountain. I don't know if they still do it, but Oroville high school students used to go up every year to paint it white. It's not elevated like the one in the video. It's just a flat, 87 foot-long, concrete O on the side of a very steep, flat-topped mountain. I got to go to Romania this summer for A military exercise working with the Romanians and i can tell you that they are some amazing people. When we got our day off we went to Bran Castle then Brasov. I loved this town so much and the people are what really made it spectacular.

Next time you guys go to braşov i recommend going to brasseria because they have the best hot chocolate,sakura bubble tea and good food chimney they have the best icecream! And for sakura bubble tea they have really good milk tapioca tea i really reccomend the passion fruit popping boba! And locations poiana braşov,sinaia,bran and constanța! By the way Lei means Lions in romanian money! + in bran i reccomend the restaurants brandeberg and maggie's ranch and another few locations: transfăgărăşan,the peleş and pelişor castles + the black church (its name is black church because it caught on fire) it has a grand piano with those large tubes ,basically a goth piano thingy

You should go to Mamaia-Constanța, If you like the sea; it’s like the Ibiza of Romania. If you want to see traditions and simple life you should go to Maramureș. And another Beautiful destination is Cazanele Dunării, where the Danube river enters in România. The view is unreal.

You should visit Sinaia which is quite near by on the Prahova Valley and see Peles Castle...the place is amazing...also Bran Castle which I'm sure you already know...you could also do a one day hike on the Bucegi Plateau from Busteni using the funicular to go up to 2000 meters and there on foot

Thanks for posting. I am an American living in Italy and though I wanted, for some time, to drive from Italy to Zagreb to Belgrade to Brasov....I am no longer up to the ride an my husband is not a history fan so that is not going to happen. What is going to happen is a flight from Milano to Bucaresti and as I found an AIRBNB that is in the heart of Brasov, 50 meters from the Black Cathedral which costs 30 euros a night..so for a week, about 240 euros with cleaning fee...I can rent a car with what I am saving by not staying at a hotel to see what is in and around Brasov. Yes, the Castle Bram is there and I will see it but I also have heard about monasteries and citadels and such that are outside the city but within an hour's drive. Anyway, thanks for posting!!

You guys should visit Peles castle in Sinaia, and Cantacuzino castle in Busteni, both pretty close to Brasov, the castles are beautiful and the view is amazing.

That stinky cheese it is called "Branza la burduf", it is a special type of "skin cheese", I really do not know how it is made, because it is a "regional" type of cheese made only in some parts of Transilvania such Sibiu and Brasov County. It is a very expensive one compared to other type of Romanian cheese.

I am not sure if Brasov is the most beautiful city in Romania. It's just too hard to choose. Brasov, Cluj, Timisoara and many others are just splendid and much more picturesque than the capital. They even remind me of my city because we all used to be a part of the Austria-Hungary, have similar historical centers, commie area etc. :) Greeting and all the best to Romania from Sarajevo. :)

You should go hiking for breathtaking views!!It s pretty cool for some adventurous people haha! You can go to Calimani National Park ( that’s in Oriental Carpathians), near Brasov it’s a mountain trail that goes to Sapte scari ( seven stairs, that is the translation 😂) canyon and waterfall, or you should go to Cheile Nerei-Beusnita National Park, this one is my favorite! Anyway... have fun in Romania!
