To those who wonder if this is painful for horses, it really isn't. Their hooves are basically giant toenails, so this is akin to a pedicure. The horse is just chilling, not feeling a thing, and at the end I'm sure it will be pleased to have all that dirt and gunk out of its hooves.

It would be wonderfully if you could do a video with voice-over and told about each stepp of the process, but in the meantime a few questions if you don't mind. I have never seen the lether sheet used, am I correct in guessing that it is to protect the softer part of the hoof from stuff like sharp stones and things like that, but as it is lether it will absob water so it need to be redone more ofthan so thats why you don't always use it? Is copper nails standard or is it more a question of what each person prefer? The thing you painted onto the hoof is that like nail polish for horses or just an oil or something else entirety?

I've always wondered why the burning part is required...I know the horse doesn't mind as i have seen a pissed off horse and this isn't one

There's 3 principle reasons why the burning part is required. 1.Even the most skilled & gifted farrier will leave high & low spots during the initial hoof trim, burning the shoe on helps level out any high spots making the hoof perfectly flat. 2.There is lots of opportunistic fungal & bacterial flora & fauna that can & will invade a horses hoof if given the right conditions, burning the shoe on kills all those pathogens. 3.Steel is very hard to shape properly cold but when you heat it up it makes it very malleable so you can shape it accurately to suit the horse's hoof very easily before & after you burn it on.

Hola una ves más ya Ise una crítica a estás clase de videos me párese muy buenos y un gran travajo y mil respetos a quien lo asen soy de argentina mi crítica no es para q la mal entiendan solo q estaría bueno q espliquen estos vídeos porq son increíbles como por ejemplo el porq a esta clase de erradura le ponen una suela ebisto en este mismo canal casi la misma manera pero con una suela de goma o paresida le pueden sacar mucho más a estos vídeos y es un gran travajo
