I don't even think shes bad, the meta is just so busted that anything other than insane op units are basically not viable. Anything other than a pre nerf Hwa tier character is going to feel bad. We live in a meta where Candy and Yufine are mid, and the top 100 arena players are still champ 1 because no1 can keep a good winstreak

Fr. This is the the main problem that epic seven has. They can't release well designed balanced units anymore. Unless a unit counters something busted or is busted themselves, its impossible for a unit to be good.

That said, she lacks a lot of synergy with other units. She enables a full team counter, but how do these unit benefit from counter? How does DBS benefit from counter? How does Nahkwol? How does Nuna? They don’t. That on top of the fact that she has many counters is, in my opinion, what makes her a niche pick at best. And as someone else said, the “challenge” buff is pretty bad. The multiplier is pretty low (understandable considering the cumulative value) and it’s a one turn buff meaning after the first provoked unit hits you, the next three (in a perfect scenario) are basically hitting for free with no consequence except a team push which isn’t all that useful if its not an aoe for consistency cause no one is realistically hitting Hellua if they’re not provoked. Not only is she not a threat against single target units, she’s essentially useless after the first activation of “challenge”.

I personally do not mind us getting a mid ML. Been so hard to pull all the these OP MLs for the last half year. It was so hard to gather and save up for mystic. I’m enjoying not having to worry about paying too much for a gacha game. Also there are so many meta and crazy unit, I don’t want to add enough more in for the time period

She definitely needs a buff the challenge counter should be 2 turns not 1 use only 😂 for ML5 they definitely did not cook her well, i just don't know why they limit it for 1 use only since she can be counter pick easily

I feel like her if her counter buff would just stay on the units until they took their turn, it would work much better. Having it to only one use makes it pretty bad. Or when your allies counter and kill an enemy, maybe it can reset her s3 or lower its cooldown by a bit. At the moment, I’m for sure skipping her unless they give her a buff

We don't know how ML hwayoung or ML taeyou kits will impact her. She might become the best unit in the game if either or both are really good teammates with Lua. We just don't really know.

She’s just worse DDR unfortunately. While the CD change was great the not triggering on counter attack means you lose out on free damage. Ex Straze because now it triggers on auto attack I picked him with her and he never even used it the whole fight because of how he cycles.
