2:00 - According to KYGUNCO, the GX2 is replacing the G2C. Taurus Promos has a 25 buck rebate through 15JAN25. I've always thought Taurus made good value pistols but nothing quite grabbed me until the GX2. I think I need to get the stainless model which is only 12 bucks more.

It does look cool, like a G3c in the style of the GX4. The handle palm swell and finger ledge reminds me of the Hogue sleeve, which makes the G3c way easier to use for me. I like the G3c magazines for the pinky ledge, and I got three with mine, but I'm guessing there's two now to cover the cost of improved internal parts and keep up with inflation.

If my memory is correct Taurus usually brings the non-optic version out first followed by the optic version. That’s what happened with my 3GC, G3, G4. That’s the Taurus way.

Just a different grip ..the chassis is the same why not I guess ..have you got your hands on the 17+1 mags for the gx4 cause I want to try those ..the 15s are stupid tight even after a year fully loaded and shot 6-700 rds .also is the mag release still light on the new gun I hear they were going to beef it up ..I took mine out and bent it to be stronger ..when I get that aluminum lower with Lake line comped barrel I'm done spending cash on a 300$ gun with 400$ worth of upgrades it just shoots so well

It is but it makes sense if it is replacing the G2C

The slides are slightly different. But the seem to be interchangeable. The mag release seems to be a bit stiffer.
