I feel like the reason the channel isn't doing too well is because of repetitive content. Doing the same things over (slightly different circumstance/ scaled up etc.) And it is also less relatable as half of these aren't 'cool things you can do at home' any more.

TKOR, Please consider using my idea! The reason the dry ice didn't make the Tornado is because you didn't have an updraft. A fan will do the job. Have it sucking on the bottom side on the top of your tornado machine, and your dry ice tornado will spin-up!

Next time use a DIY sand blaster to "shoot" cool stuff like powdered metals. Warning Will Robinson : magnesium and aluminum can burn so bright it can blind you.

Great idea, Markus. More suggestions: fine iron or steel powder, fine cerium or ferrocerium powder, fine titanium or ferrotitanium powder, fine zirconium powder, fine copper powder, fine brass or bronze powder, fine zinc powder, fine magnalium (MgAl alloy) powder, lycopodium, fine charcoal powder or lampblack powder, very fine sugar (caster sugar or icing sugar), fine flour/cornflour. Also: finely powdered solid compounds of metals for colored flame effect. For example: copper sulphate (which gives green or blue, depending on the flame temperature), lithium carbonate (reddish/crimson), strontium carbonate (deep red), barium carbonate or barium chloride (green). Metal chloride salts would give best results, in theory; trouble is that many metal chlorides are hygroscopic and prone to clumping in contact with moisture, which means that it might be tricky keeping them bone dry and powdery so that they can be easily blown into the 'firenado' column.

Ill work on it, but did you noticed how when you let the cold air get pushed down by the fan at 7:19, maybe if you were to do that but combine the backyard scientists way of doing it, maybe you coooould get a spiral downwards, im just spit balling but its worth a shot

The green flames reminded me of Game of Thrones because the wildfire flames were just like that when they blew up Stannis Baratheon's fleet and the Great Sept of Baelor. You just recreated the real wildfire version from the show!

That moving mesh clip makes me wonder if one can make a smaller, open air form. You would be making a flat 2D donut with half-cylinders glued onto it in such a way so that one could spin the donut to 'scoop' up air using the outer edge of the cylinders and force the air into spinning into the center.

It should be noted that it isn't that heat wants to go up so much as that hot air expands and thus becomes less dense and wants to rise. So it's really hot air that wants to go up not heat. If it were heat itself that wanted to go up, then ice wouldn't float.

Hey, I have an idea, what if you take a lot of batteries of the usual type, then roled it up, covered with aluminum foil then put on it a lot wrapped with copper wire pencil styluses, so that wire would be longer that them, then wrapped it around with some wire and finally tangled all copper wire around one light buble and put it all into microwave
