This reception staff is heart-warming and super intelligent. They treated you in the highest standards. Unlike the luxury hotel Davud stayed last, this one has the real sense of human touch. Excellent Video, very friendly staff at the hotel is super great. The Airport is also great and modern. I am watching from Trinidad in the Caribbean. My ancestors were originally from India, they were brought by the British to work on the Sugar Plantations after slavery was abolished. I like viewing your videos, India is very facinating country. I would say, Oberoi & taj are two of the best ‘hospitality groups’. I personally, prefer Oberoi cause they personalise everything if you’re their old client.

Davud, welcome to Chennai. May I suggest one thing. At airports you can avail prepaid taxi service, those are economical. I have seen many people in India are greedy and they charge exorbitantly when they see foreigners. Please don't oblige them. They paint a bad picture of our country also. They try to milk as much as they can from foreigners. All foreigners are respected guests in our country. We earn sizeable revenue from them. You should pay reasonable amount to them. We are a developing country, no doubt. But that not give license to them to exploit our esteemed guests. I have seen you donating sizeable amount to different philanthropic organizations. That's good. But I suggest not to satisfy the greedy people. Our country earns a bad name for that. I wish you all the best during your stay in India. You are a nice person by heart. And should not be a prey to greedy people.

Your channel should've more adventure/exploration video rather than hotel review video Davud. It's ok if you want to introduce the hotel you live but shouldn't more than half an hour per video, 10-15min should be enough. BTW, more adventure/exploration videos hopefully after this. Thanks! Just 150$ per night for this luxury hotel 😮we paid 300$ per night in New York (hotel Pennsylvania) entrance looked damn luxury but the rooms are from 19th century,I mean everything in the room was very poor, broken bathrooms , leaking ceiling, bed from 19 century floor was 50 years old etc. btw we stayed for 1 week & only used the room to sleep. the reason we didn't change the hotel cuz booking in New York was not easy, we waited in the lobby for almost 4 hours to get the room. I’m sure if this hotel was in NY they’ll charge 1000$ per night 😅

Yes, the cost of living in india is much lower. You could say in US, the cost of living is 5-6 times higher than India. So 150*6, close to 1000 usd :)

I’ve been following you for a while and have always found you to be kind and respectful to all. At 07:30 you asked the driver to carry your luggage and told him, it’s heavy. A moment ago he had told you that he was 60yrs old. Why would you be asking someone to carry your weights for you, especially if they are old. He’s your taxi driver, not your porter. You are young and strong enough to carry your stuff! Surprisingly you hid my comment as well. I had to use another account to post the same comment. Well done !!

Rude or courteous _ some folks have to be taught how to honk! Screechy ones hurt the ears😂 The Guest Relations executive and the staff _ very polished, helpful BUT definitely not over powering or in the face! Excellent customer service. The Bell Boy Ganeshan_ so goooooood! Excellent! From Housekeeping to Front Office!!!!!!

IT IS SLIGHTLY EXPENSIVE BUT IT IS A GOOD IDEA TO STAY COUPLE OF TIMES IN A YEAR . EVERYTHING SEEMS TO BE PERFECT..... THE HOTELS IN INDIA 🇮🇳 MUCH BETTER THAN REST OF THE WORLD ,FOR THE MONEY WE SPENT .... TAJ , OBEROI , ITC, LEELA , THESE ARE FEW I KNOW ...

Please do visit indian state of Gujarat and Diu. There is a big diaspora of Gujarati people aboroad in Africa, UK, US, Australia and Canada. Ahmedabad city is also has historical ruins and great variety of food. Surat is diamond city because of its diamond industry. Highest statue of Sardar Patel in India. Gandhi's state where he was born and there is a museum dedicated to his life.
