About this video

The clients ask for the room to be duel purpose with a Snooker area containing a full size table as you enter the space, with a comfortable seating area and big Movie Screen at the back for the room. Images are provided by an Epson 4K Upscaling Projector onto a 130” Projector Screen in a 21:9 (2.370:1) aspect ratio. Switching between the connected sources is a breeze thanks to the Neeo Remote and the Control4 system. The 7.2.4 Immersive Artcoustic speaker system easily hits Dolby's recommend reference level of 105db allowing access to modern sound formats like Dolby Atmos, DTS X and more. The audio system also works seamlessly as a multi room audio system thanks to the built in HEOS system into the Denon amplifier great for music whist playing Snooker and socialising with friends.
This room was design and created completely in house by our team.

Really incredible room. From the poll table part to the theatre itself. I like that you decided to install a sofa instead of a set of chair, creates a wonderful enviroment to be fully lived together with friends. I'd pay to take part in a movie party there! As a cinema student, I wish one day I can have a similar setup as well in my current house, but lack of usable space makes the dream pretty hard to reach!

That scoreboard for the snooker table probably the most expensive thing in the room. If it’s genuine. Hope they know what they’ve got there.

The snooker element of the room is very much the key element for the client. He's wanted one since he was a kid, so I'm sure he knows what he has.

Looks brilliant. I really like the panelling. Do you get a sharp picture with a projector (in comparison to a large TV)?

Hi, thanks for your kind words. You cannot really draw a direct comparison between a TV and a Projector. TVs will give you a brighter, sharper picture, but they are made for smaller sizes you will normally sit closer to. Projector-based systems offer you the ability to go larger, much bigger than you could with a TV. Also, Projector based system allows you to put the speakers where they are supposed to be, behind the screen. Hope that helps.

Definitely worth the investment if you want the best picture and sound for your system. The convenience of buying your content digitally without any compression is a winner, and now you can rent from them as well.
