whats good about these flies they dont get caught on bottom hardly ever because of the jig, in the current the fly is always hook point up.

you could get everything you need to tie this pattern including tools and materials for about 100 if you were buying a budget set up. If you like it you can always upgrade

quite a while if tied right. I've used a single fly for 30+ fish before. some times that comes down to the pattern. This one in particular is quite durable. However, typically a tree or bottom claim the ones I tie before they fall apart

I agree there are a few minor imperfections on this one. Like the front band, the PT wrap, and just a touch too much dubbing. Very easy to see things things when magnified 10x. However, only people care about this stuff fish don't 😂
