Thing is with these Mediatek chips, you can't tinker with the phone : there's no custom roms, so once unihertz stops updating it (liekly after a year or two) you can't get updates from the community. And the processor is trash but it's 170€ so it's fine

yeah that definitely sucks.. although I have had the Jelly 2 for around a year and its been fine. personally for the pricepoints its ok buying another in 2 years. with that being said I am not consistently using one of these as a daily driver longer than a month at a time.

hey what's up Buckhead thanks for the comment and thoughts. I've actually used the original Jelly 2 for over a week and it was GREAT. the only downsides were everyday actions that were difficult to do - and the LCD had an issue. I replaced the device since and will be using it again this next week while on a vacation. It has the same soc of a redmi 6a which costed 100$ from 2018 pretty weak for that time pretty suprised it handled some games i guess mainly due to the resolution being very low it barely handles anything in 720p

Honestly I am sick of Samsung and iPhone that are not fitting in my pocket anymore. I need to carry a freaking leather bag with all my stuff. Think about that, my Samsung or my iPhone are to big for the front pocket, so I need to put in the back pocket. Every time I take a sit, I need to remove ( automatically) from my pocket and put somewhere else. Did we forget when the old Nokia 3310 was fitting the from pocket and you can leave here even during the drive? This phone is the answer
