Considering such high cleaning fees I’m okay with the guest leaving a turd in the sink.

15.00 for my cleaning fee because I want to make sure that regular working-class people have access to nice rentals. Total cost for the unit for one night 3 beds 1 1/2 bath was 121.00 but I'll take the cleaning fee through the roof to make sure we keep the brokies out and people who don't take care of things unable to afford to stay. That's why only the rich wealthy and affluent who actually take care of stuff can come and stay at my airbnb from now on

My boss does Airbnb and he has a two day minimum on some places and a three day minimum on others. The cleaning fees more than make up for the mess people make like a $250 charge if we find them to be smoking inside of the unit.

Sooooo short term rentals should be treated the same way as long term. Need to vet you tenets and lose money from time to time by passing. Scumbags usually don’t come with good reviews. Actually they should make a rental credit score. Be a lot of homeless I suspect. Especially with all of the jealousy on here.
@MillennialMike Жыл бұрын
I would love to see a short-term rental score similar to credit score that's a great idea I go off of reviews. But some people have newer accounts with no reviews or one review. I've had mostly good experiences with new accounts. This is my first bad experience. I assume it will happen from time to time but as my Airbnb experience goes up and I booked more and more people I will become more selective with who I allow stay there for the reasons outlined in this video.

@@MillennialMikewhat a pathetic response. Assholes buy up property just to use it as rental property. Then go whine online about the risks of their business model. Suck it up and take your profit. Baby

They trashed his shit and it's completely disrespectful. Imagine if they had stayed for a week. Because he has to clean up after all of this not them
@TheDethnite Жыл бұрын
@@definitelyauniquename6237 Can you imagine Hilton posting a short about how they’re housekeepers had to clean up after a guest stayed for a week? No, they clean AND make the beds every day. Zero complaints, unless something is actually broken or stolen. AirBnB owners expect you to leave it spotless and charge a cleaning a fee. Ridiculous.
@definitelyauniquename6237 Жыл бұрын
@@TheDethnite I’m pretty sure their housekeepers complain if the tenants made a complete mess of the place And damn right we expect you to leave it spotless that’s called common courtesy and you do realize we have to disinfect some stuff still right maybe mop the floors as well but from what I know we vary our cleaning fee depending on the mess
