Been using one for the past 4 or 5 years. They work great. All my knives are razor sharp.

As a chef, fisherman and hunter, I love Work Sharp products! As a land owner, I have a question. Is this product something i should consider, to fill my Kitchen and outdoors needs, but still be something I can use, to sharpen lawnmower blades, axes, hatchets, etc.? Currently, lawnmower blades being the most used, secondary use.

I have this sharpener, and it does work really well. I wish I'd bit the bullet and gotten it years ago rather than wasting my money on other sharpeners that were disappointing. The only knock on it that I've found is that it's extremely slow. Especially for really dull knives or when first establishing the right edge. Expect to spend 10-15 minutes per knife the first time you use it. Just for touch-ups, it only takes a few swipes per side. It's easier to keep a knife sharp before it gets dull than it is to resharpen it afterwards.

Bi-Mart has these by the ammo counter. That's a company in Oregon.

I walk by one every few days lol the one here in town actually keeps one plugged in and on the counter top for everyone to use as needed.

i have a ken onion 1st gen, as a experiment i took a chef knife from dull to all the way thru the belts, and then took the same knife to whetstones 4k 6k 8k and then cera polish and well the edge was hard to see and the weight of the knife would let it sink through a tomato without pressure

And I watched it, and the ads before it, because I support BRO. That was the point of my post. I don’t just consume. I support.

Blame for what? Being able to support BRO by watching the ads before their videos? I do that by choice because I’m not a parasite. I choose to support the channels that I enjoy by subscribing, liking, and letting the ads roll.

That was a utility blade,,,,not a razor blade. A true razor blade is likely to be a lot sharper. Just sayin'. LOL
