i don't think RRQ did that because all of that reason, first , they announce the team too fast ( i mean bani came after the roaster announcement ), second, RRQ are big and financially stable, work both in PH and ID, the chances are very low that they would do that. i think we just need to wait until 2023 to see the real full roaster.

It's very likely an issue of corruption within the org. Pocketing as much money as they can from what riot has given($1.5mil?) by using the cheapest available options. Maintaining their current player contracts means they'll need to pay less salary to their players as better players will obviously ask for a higher salary. I hope there is a whistleblower that prompts an official riot investigation into this org as what they're doing seems incredibly unnatural.

The owner even went on a podcast saying that when he talk to Riot they will represent Indonesia;which is why they r picked in franchised as there is already a Philippine representative and not an indonesian however we get this…😢

This wasn’t the exact same RRQ roster from their group stage exit in the APAC Challengers from Masters 2. They made a few roster changes. Then, the revamped roster won Predator League PH 2022. (Team Secret finished 3rd/4th in the same tourney). That likely played a decision in RRQ choosing to retain a majority of the roster. That being said, I agree that it was misleading for RRQ to act as if they were in franchising to proudly rep Indonesia, then show up with their retained Pinoy roster plus Tehbotol, and that the players are decent but would probably be heavily outmatched in Brazil. Thankfully, they’ve since signed fl1pzjder and Lmemore.

Probably the owner just don't see valorant as a beneficial business move, afaik its what the priority for most teams here in Indonesia (money and publicity first) that's why they didn't want to spend too much on the roster and says deals fall through because they (free players) ask too much yada yada.
