I’m a lawn care guy and I think it’s excellent for cleaning porches and patios with people really close by and so on. No 2-cycle smell, etc.

I have the milwaukee one. I use it to blow myself off after a particularly dusty day before I get in my car😆

Now i'm annoyed that I cant be mad at this product anymore because there are too many reasonable uses for it :)

I have one of these, and with a 3ah battery, it works great. Sure the bigger and more powerful blowers work better, but they also take up a lot more space in your tool shed. For its size, it’s a nice option. Finally, most of us already have the Ryobi batts, and I bought mine as a refurb, over 5 yrs ago, from Direct Tool Outlet, for about $15 (bare tool refurb).

I use mine for blowing water out of mirrors, door seals and other inaccessible areas whilst cleaning cars and motorcycles as a highly portable alternative to using my air compressor. I already have several batteries as have many ryobi tools, so I don't take that expense in to consideration making it a very competitive price compared to other brands if you do have a use for it like me, I do like your technical analysis of the materials.

That makes a lot of sense. Thanks for the feedback dude!

I used it to clean my garage. Works great especially in tight spaces where the boxes are........

Good video good technical information, but I think that Ryobi tool is useful, easy for clean my workshop. I even use it to clean my garage, I have no complaints. And if I need something more powerful I take my leaf blower but many times this tool is lighter and more effective. Again good video. I will subscribe

Sorry, I bought mines used. I use it for outdoor work area like a leaf blower and a substitute for an air compressor blower to blow myself off. Even my small shop vac is too loud and has a cord, and is more bulky. Its light and portable. It may be overpriced and not for all a lot of applications. The larger Ryobi leaf blower seems overkill for my purposes, and is much larger. This works great for me.

These 18v motors are actually significantly larger than 540 or 550 sized motors used in brushed rc applications

Every tool has its purpose. Nooks and crannies and blowing out the clothes dryer went. All the major tool companies have their version. Need a vacuum too but blowing gets things out the vacuum won’t. Nice review. Don’t agree with your opinion but on the technical side bravo!

Nice vid. I was wondering if you can answer a question for me.Is ABS brittle? Will it crack easier then nylon 66? If you designed it would you use ABS or 66?
@JJCCENG4 жыл бұрын
Great question. ABS is more "tough" or non-brittle compared to most Nylons. So the main reason to use nylon is when you need "stiffness" or "rigidity"... but in a light duty application like this blower, there really is no need for a stiff material so I think ABS was a great material choice.. and an added bonus is ABS is much easier than Nylon to process into a beautiful dimensionally stable part, free of surface imperfections.

Funny thing is Milwaukee has the same exact blower rebranded and red. I bet this guy would say how great the Milwaukee is .

I have since been informed that there are some decent practical uses for this blower, but if at the time of this filming, if I knew about the milwaukee one and it cost more than this one I would have ragged on it even more probably....
