The partridge in a pear tree glasses were wonderful! Even if they weren't Georges Briard they looked to be top quality and vintage bar ware with such heavy gold decoration tends to sell for a lot. P.s.-- hope you're feeling rested and restored from your vacay😊

I know you might be too busy to read my post ,which is understandable, and I apologize for writing a post that is the length of "War and Peace," LOL! I'm just an outsider looking in, and I don't know you two, and obviously you two don't know me. BUT, from what I observe, from your videos, you two are really a cool couple! You both share a passion for antiques, collectibles and resale and you both have a really good eye for things. I love to see both of you go together and having fun looking for treasures. I 'm a single guy and I admire that. I just think that is great! I used to work in an enormous antique collective that housed 132 antique dealer's booths. We would get in couples, even whole families who shared this passion like you two ,and the icing on the cake they were making money off of this passion! You both seem like smart people who enjoy history and the tangible aspects of history. And of course, the love of quality and beauty. Andrew seems like a smart interesting cool guy. He seems like a reader who checks out the books at the thrift shops which is awesome. He seems like he has a passion for history, such as, looking for things from the Civil War with a metal detector. Do you take your kids metal detecting? I know you two must be super busy with your business, but it would be awesome if you do take your kids becuase its like an educational adventure for them. When I was their age I went nuts over stuff like that, and I still do. My imagination went wild when I was their age whenever I was taken to museums and antique stores ,which was often. I love your videos! They are a blast! Thank you for sharing!

The strangest thing happened - I was in a Savers today and saw a holly bowl similar to the one in this video which I watched last night. I've never before seen that collection and only noticed the bowl (from the video) as I was shopping around Savers. Anyway, it turned out that the bowl had two candle holders (one damaged), an S&P set, and a sugar with lid and creamer packed inside for $3.99 - with the Lefton stickers! I bought it just because I thought it must be a sign. This is the third time something like this has happened!

So, your were sort of in my neck of the Woods lol. My husband has a dr up there and I’ve been to that Goodwill. I’m surprised you got as much as you did. I never find anything worth much. Actually all the Goodwills and Salvation Army’s are pretty crappy around the Scranton area. Now if you want some real fun, come up to the Lake Wallenpaupack area. It’s beautiful, so many little antique shops with great prices. I know because I live here. The Scranton area is about an hr away from us. Great place for a 4 day getaway with the kiddos! Lots to do!!
