Is this what Parkour in Assassin’s Creed Should look Like?

I've always been a huge fan of Black Flag, and I like the parkour aswell. However, I don't like the fact that everything is dictated with only one button. This a lot of times makes me feel like I don't have control over Edward, for example sometimes when I want to jump to one direction, my character goes the other way...

One thing the images can't show, is how good it feels when you pull something like this off. Unfortunately, the system is not very polished, and the parkour feels very clunky at times.
