Hello. I want to say something (an important update) on the Backrooms original location. Here it is No, it is wrong, the original Backrooms location is in the U.S.A. state of Wisconsin. The location of the original The Backrooms photograph was just discovered yesterday, in a OshKosh website. It was uploaded to the OshKosh website on 3 March 2003, 21 years ago. The Backrooms photo was also discovered in a earlier March 2011 4chan post. You can check it up on the internet online. So the mystery of where the original location of the Backrooms is can ultimately rest in peace, at last. Goodbye.

I think the original Backrooms photo was taken before it was renovated by the furniture store. The "disconnected wall" is a partition, which partitions are removable. I think they removed the partition, and got rid of the wallpaper during renovation, because the wallpaper is clearly outdated and aging, and crinkling off, judging by the wallpaper on the right wall appearing to be crinkling and/or falling off. I think this might be the real location, but heavily renovated. As for the outlet, they probably just got rid of the outlet which (I believe) you can actually do.

i think they just heavily modified the image for the backrooms creepypasta because looking at it now you can see alot of things that just look like they were photoshopped in / auto filled, the 2012 thing couldve most likely been done by some sort of program and people having seen the image before the backrooms is most likely just because of stuff that looked similar to the backrooms

The original photo of the backrooms was dated to be Atleast from 2008 or sometime before that, which means that if this is digitally altered (which it isn’t because many people have tried to see if it is and all results said it wasn’t) then that means the person who digitally altered this was unnaturally good at it.

The suggested image was taken AFTER the original backrooms image as inspiration, or as I think what might have happened the original backrooms photo was made in blender, explaining the irregularities between these two images. Almost everything will be slightly off, and some aprts were added/removed so the final result (which is known as the orirignal image) would look a certain way the creator wanted it to look.

I have a theory that the area seen in the original Backrooms image was never real in the first place, instead it’s a mid-2010s digital render which would explain why we haven’t found it.
